Aviv Plumbing

My brother was having trouble at his place and asked if I could find a plumber. These guys came out fixed the problem he had (dont ask me what it was though). Fixed it the next day and all was well. They even fixed a leak we had for free (although it only took the guy less than 10 seconds.

We have used the services of Aviv plumbing several times now and they have always been excellent. They are reliable and accessible. They are always on time as arranged and will stay with the problem until it is resolved. They are pleasant and professional. The staff have easy access to the company owner and are able to consult with him while on the job. Our most recent experience was with Raphie who was knowledgable and a pleasure to communicate with.

All the workmen at Aviv are polite, highly skilled, knowledgeable and reliable. They return your calls promptly and arrive on time. Raphie is a dynamo toilet installer! We highly recommend Aviv for all your plumbing needs.

I called Aviv Plumbing on Sunday afternoon and received a call back 8 am Monday morning. Erle arrived within 1.5 hours later. Erle was professional, very knowledgeable and tidy. He wore booties over his shoes and cleaned up after removing the bathroom fixture. Terrific work at a reasonable price. Will be scheduling additional work in the near future and I would not hesitate to recommend Erle at Aviv Plumbing to others.

We called Aviv to get an estimate for our new home where there was no laundry facilities. We asked Michael to quote on putting the facilities next to a washroom: he took a look in another room and told us that there was possibly pipes behind that wall and that if so, it would be much cheaper. We chose that option, he was right and it made a huge difference to the price.

While they were there we had them also fix a leak (turned out to be the faucet so they replaced that) and fix the shower. All for much less than any plumber had quoted us for the laundry job alone (no one else had mentioned the other option).

We were very pleased and will definitely hire them again in the future.

Although we arranged a service call (to replace the toilet) at 16:00, Erle was in the area and we agreed to meet at 14:15. The level of professionalism was very impressive and the installation was seamless. I'm very impressed with Erle; he was quite friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. On August 27. 2008, I hired Aviv plumbing for fix a leaky faucet in the the kitchen. The wood around the faucet was also starting to rot. Although the worker recommended an all in one sink to fix the problem, I chose to have the area of the faucet secured. The worker replaced the faucet because the present faucet irreparable and he also secured the wood supporting the faucet. It was a tough small job but the worker was successful. This is the second time I've used Aviv plumbing and both times the work was done well.

My troubles started when my basement sump pump and back up pump stopped working due to a pipe failure resulting in a burnt out pump. Since rain was in the forecast I called around frantically for someone to fix the problem and after numerous calls Simi from Aviv Plumbing agreed to address the emergency situation after normal working hours. Simi arrived after an hour and worked to temporarily patch the problem until it could be addressed properly with a new pump. He was knowledgeable and courteous but most of all cared enough to take on an emergency situation even though it was late in the evening....for that I was grateful.

After the weekend I called Michael of Aviv who agreed to install a new sump pump and back up pump that day. By mid morning he and Simi arrived with parts in hand and proceeded to replace my sump pump system. Once the installation was completed we discovered the system was making a hammering noise after the sump pump turned itself off. Michael agreed to investigate the situation and get back to me with a solution. A week later Michael installed a new check valve which solved the problem at no additional cost to me.

Aviv is a company that is honest, takes pride in what it does, and operates with integrity. They have earned my business and loyalty by the way in which they have conducted themselves.

Raphie from Aviv plumbing recently fixed my leaking bathtub. He was extremely punctual and courteous- even wore protective covers on his shoes- which does not happen too often! He fixed the problematic tub quickly and also pointed additional problems with the bathroom and was able to recommend solutions to it.
