Roofing Replacement and Repair
ARR did a great job in repairing my roof during the winter. Guys came as scheduled, worked hard to get the work done and cleaned up after themselves. I was satisfied with their work and woudl hire them again.

My troubles started when my basement sump pump and back up pump stopped working due to a pipe failure resulting in a burnt out pump. Since rain was in the forecast I called around frantically for someone to fix the problem and after numerous calls Simi from Aviv Plumbing agreed to address the emergency situation after normal working hours. Simi arrived after an hour and worked to temporarily patch the problem until it could be addressed properly with a new pump. He was knowledgeable and courteous but most of all cared enough to take on an emergency situation even though it was late in the evening....for that I was grateful. After the weekend I called Michael of Aviv who agreed to install a new sump pump and back up pump that day. By mid morning he and Simi arrived with parts in hand and proceeded to replace my sump pump system. Once the installation was completed we discovered the system was making a hammering noise after the sump pump turned itself off. Michael agreed to investigate the situation and get back to me with a solution. A week later Michael installed a new check valve which solved the problem at no additional cost to me. Aviv is a company that is honest, takes pride in what it does, and operates with integrity. They have earned my business and loyalty by the way in which they have conducted themselves. Thank you!
Having renovated a house for 2.5 years I have come across many trades and I must say Serge is amongst the best. My job was a little tricky requiring Serge to cut through layers of brick to install a copper drain pipe and eaves trough. Serge spent his time setting my expectations on what could go wrong and then executed the job beautifully, without a hitch. Although my job was a small one he treated it with a sense of priority, a sign of a good renovator and NOT someone looking for a quick buck. Great job Serge!
Empire Moving formeraly Magnum Moving moved me 3 weeks ago. They ran their truck into my porch causing $1400 of damage. I was told that they would compensate me for the damages at the time but now no one will return my call. There is no information on their website as to their location or who to contact. The dispatcher is evasive and there is no owner / manager to phone directly. Please do your research before you trust this company with your possessions.
