I contacted Ralph late Thursday afternoon and they were in my home installing the potlights on Saturday morning. by noon they were cleaning up the job and i've been admiring their work all day. they were professional, careful and at a very reasonable price. I intend to use him again in the future.

I needed extensive electrical work in my kitchen and living room and Ralph and Tony did the work in a day doing minimal damage to my walls and even fixed my electrical panel which was making a weird noise for free. I would recommend them to my family and friends without hesitation.

We contacted Ralph to upgrade our electrical service from old fashion fuses to 200 Amps. When he came to check the job, he was very through, his quote very reasonable, his knowledge extensive and his dedication and enjoyment of his work very noticeable. We contracted him and we were not disappointed. He was committed to his work so much so he did not leave until the work was completed as he had promised. He was punctual and left things clean and neat.

We requested an extra plug which was over and above his quote, he didn’t hesitate. He made time for our request and came back as promised to complete the extra job.

I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family. We will be renovating come spring and we wouldn’t think of calling anyone else but Ralph.

We experienced a mystery outage in only part of our home. We knew we needed professional advice. After reading reviews on HomeStars, we decided to call Ralph. He returned our call within an hour, came to our home within the next hour and solved the mystery within two hours. Immediately you could tell that Ralph knew how to assess and remedy the situation. He worked in tandem with his apprentice James, to ensure that all was functioning well before leaving. Ralph's business card states: "Our service may shock you, but our prices won't" was absolutely true when we were informed of the costs. One of our Kitchen outlets stopped working. The upper part worked but the lower did not. It is an outlet we use constantly. Ralph came same day and checked the wires but they were intact. He checked another outlet in the kitchen and found they were connected. Checked the breaker but it was active. He finally just tightened the wires and it became active again. We were very pleased ...he followed a mental checklist and we had a great result. Did not need to repair a breaker after all.

Had an issue with electical on my pool pump. Ralph came over right away on a Friday night and fixed it. Service was efficient, clean and very proffessional. I would highly recommend RJC.

With the heat wave we decided it was time to get an AC unit installed. Since our basement was finished we needed to have the wire run behind the drywall in preparation for the installation. I decided to check out homestars and after calling a few places we came across RLC Electric. From our initial conversation I got a sense that Ralph was professional and knowledgable at what he does, and his prices were also very competitive. He was also able to come in the next day as I explained the urgency. When he began to work, what was suppose to be a quick job turned into an all day nightmare because of the layout of my basement. He made sure I was aware of everything he was doing and any issues he was coming across. Despite the frustrating situation he was very professional and even at times when I thought any other person might have given up on it or charged us more he did not. He returned the next morning and completed the work. He went above and beyond what was expected. I am so impressed and happy to know there are people out there like this. We are having a new water heater installed. At the measure we were advised that our wiring was running too close to the flue to meet code and that an electrician would be required to move the wiring. Ralph replied very promptly and set up a time to visit for an estimate. On looking at the wiring he said that all that was required was some insulation between the wires and the flue and that it was up to code. I appreciated Ralph's honesty - he could have sold me a rewiring job that I did not need. I had some insulation handy and Ralph quickly put it in place. He would not take any money for this service. Ralph is a polite, prompt, professional who I would go back to for future electrical work.

I needed an electrical circuit checked, a pot light replaced and a light fixture re-secured to the ceiling. Ralph responded to my call quickly and arrived at my home early (he called first to make sure I knew he was on his way). He is professional and pleasant in manner and knowledgeable. Work was carried out as quickly as possible and the work areas were tidied up. I feel for the work done and time spent, the price was very fair. I would recommend RLC Electric without hesitation.

I recently contacted RLC ELECTRIC (Ralph) to install a chandelier light in the great hall in my home. Not a big project but demanding due to a very high ceiling and a site relocation. Ralph responded promptly, arrived on schedule and did a perfect job of placement, re-enforcing and wiring a new outlet box and securing the light, while working in an attic space and sure-footedly atop a tall step ladder (thus saving the expense of scaffolding). Scary for me but not for him, it seemed! He left no damage or mess and charged a very reasonable fee considering the difficulty and danger of the task and time and resources needed. It is indeed a rare pleasure to deal with such a skilled and meticulous craftsman and friendly, informative personality. I would recommend him unreservedly.
