I was very pleased with the service provided. Joad not only compeleted the work on time and on budget, but provided future ideas and excellent advice. I read about HomeStars in a Toronto Star article and was compelled to post a review after this pleasant experience.

At first I liked these guys. However, I had just bought this house, my wife was nine months pregnant, so the job needed to be done quick before we moved in. He was late by almost a week, and he promised a couple of small holes in each room but made a hell of a mess. A lot of our plaster was ripped up unnecessarily which resulted in much more repairs. He didn't wire the dishwasher and had to come back a week later. Since then, one outlet doesn't work. He never sent me my formal receipt, or labeled my fuses. He never removed the old wiring like he said he would. My lights outside simply don't work anymore. I called, and was promised follow-up in 4 weeks. It's been eight weeks. Sorry, but I'll use someone else next time.
