A few summers back, I did my research and planned for a complete furnace and air conditioner replacement set for the fall before my old furnace and old A/C went kaput.
I found United Energy in addition to 4 other companies.
I received 5 quotes and ultimately picked United Energy who happened to have the lowest cost.
Honestly, I usually don’t go for the cheapest quote but United Energy was unlike the other companies.
The salesman was very informative and friendly.
I bought the Goodman furnace paired with the Goodman central Air Conditioner.
I found that United Energy has an informative website full of information on Furnaces and Air Conditioners.
During the quote process I was offered the comparable Amana furnace and Air Conditioner by other HVAC company.
Amanas are built by Goodman.
Basically they are the same but you pay more $$$$$$$ for the furnace and more $$$$$$$ for the A/C.
The only difference is the casing as the technology used by both products as the same.
Both have great warranties.
United Energy also educated me on yearly maintenance to keep my products in optimal condition.
My quotation and ultimately invoice are both detailed and exact.
I paid exactly what I was quoted.
This is not always the case with companies you hire to do a job.
I know this since I'm currently dealing with a plumber who isn't as up front like United Energy.
United Energy was very patient and fielded a few of my calls prior to me going with them.
They weren’t pushy at all and provided me a 'no-surprises' quote.
Installation was done in September by excellent installers whose names I can’t recall. The HVAC installation would have taken more than 4 days if done by a crew of one.
Thank you guys, I appreciate the work you did.
Can you believe that the highest quote I received was $14,500!?
This was for similar products from another HVAC installer and they’re the ones that installed the original furnace and A/C in my home many years ago.
In fact, I found it elevating that United Energy was talking me out of wasting money. They were very informed and good-naturedly explained the choices of furnace and A/C that were made.
This helped us make our final decision to go with United Energy.
United Energy’s service after the sale? Well, I recently had some super service when my units required cleaning and maintenance to keep them pristine.
I emailed United Energy for a cleaning appointment. Veronica called me back within a half hour of me sending the email.
The short of it, United Energy is responsive.
Somehow, I blew the fuse on the furnace's circuit board while changing my air filter that is powered by an adapter.
One of the guys who installed my furnace came and replaced the fuse promptly. Now that's service!
I will have no hesitation recommending United Energy and their team.
I've found that United Energy really does care about his customers by their actions and have recommended to family, neighbors and friends.
