This is the third time I’ve used The Floor Shop; as with the two previous instances, the work was top notch - the job was completed in excellent time and the floors look fantastic!

The two guys who installed the flooring were very professional and they did a great job. I’d definitely use THe Floor Shop again.

We're getting our downtown condo ready to sell and our agent said we had to get new floors, that ours were in horrible shape. We had used The Floor Shop before for our stairs and top level, but the main level still had the original floors.

The job they did was outstanding. Our condo can be challenging with limited parking and limited use of the elevators, but they handled it in stride. Cool guys who had it done before 3pm and the work was great. If we had to do it again we'd go with them for sure.

The folks at the Floor Shop are great. Ryan was very helpful in the selection process. The installers (I never met them, but I spoke to one gentleman - Tawab) were true pros. The job was done to perfection, it was done ahead if schedule, and the place was left clean. They obviously know what they are doing; above and beyond that, they take pride in their work. Big thumbs up.

I was very impressed with The Floor Shop in Mississauga . Debbie was very informative and came to my home to take measurements and forwarded a quote. She was an amazing person to deal with.
The installation included carpet and underlay removal in my basement,flooring,baseboards and treads and risers. This was started in a set date and completed in 2 days.
The installers were efficient and worked tirelessly to complete this work. They took away the old carpet etc and everything was totally cleaned

The Floor shop has now installed not one, but two beautiful floors for us. The service was in every way excellent, but there was more to our experience than that.

When I first chose our hardwood, my inexperience led to them installing a wood whose colour looked radically different in our home compared to in-store (lesson learned: they can give you a sample to take home so this won’t happen - make sure to ask for this). Although it was a gorgeous floor, the colour looked terrible in our house. The owner, Peter, was very understanding, and generously offered to replace the floor at cost. Ryan patiently walked me through other options, gave us samples to view in our living room, and managed to arrange a much lower cost than I’d expected. Now we have a stunning walnut floor, and couldn’t be happier.

Trust these guys to go above and beyond your expectations. You won’t be disappointed.

Andrew and Ryan at the Floor Shop were wonderful to deal with. Very thorough, prompt and responsive. They explained everything to me and ensured my understanding every step of the way. I never once had to follow-up with them and they kept me in the loop throughout the project. We were working with very tight timelines and they worked to accommodate our schedule despite an unanticipated setback. At the time of installation, we noticed one small cracked floorboard. I called them to report it on the Friday of a long weekend and the issue was completely resolved by 11:00 am on the very next business day. I could not be happier that we chose The Floor Shop. Very knowledgeable staff, no pressure and very patient when undecided. Installation went without a hitch. Crew was polite and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend The Floor Shop! Will use them again for future projects.

Replace old parquet and install new wood floors to match as closely as possible the wood floors in the front of the house.
Very fast and efficient work crew - couldn't find a colour to match perfectly with front of house - but it looks beautiful.
We worked personally with the owner which creates confidence in the company and the product.

The overall quality of the workmanship on the floor was excellent. Work began on time, finished on time. There were a few problems with installation: double doors in bedroom would not fit over new floor, and had to be cut and re-installed in a separate visit. Ditto for entrance to unit, which had to have a different, ceramic threshold installed. Excellent work attending to both problems!

There were also a few annoying problems with small details: two reminders to return baseboard paint were ignored, and we ended up picking up the paint ourselves. Floor maintenance and polishing kit were promised (twice) but again, a special reminder was necessary.

But all in all, very satisfied with work!
