The Floor Shop

Our experience with the Floor Shop is through the location on Wicksteed Ave - they have both a great selection of material & a very knowledgeable staff, which helped immensely with our decision making process. We chose a beautiful hickory product for our 1600 sq. ft. install + custom flush wood vent covers. We are so absolutely happy with the end result - their installers did a fantastic job, they are true experts in their field. Now coming to the end of a major renovation I can tell you there are a lot of disappointments along the way - the experience we had with our hard wood flooring however was one of the best, and we felt compelled to show our gratitude by posting this review.

We dealt with The Floor Shop in Mississauga at Cawthra. The best home reno experience we have ever had!!! We read some grea treviews of them on this site so we decided to go with them. Boy, were we glad we did. We had jesse come over and remove the old carpeting we had and over a day and a half, with help from Thomas and John, installed the most beautiful flooring. My place looks like amillion bucks, and I have to say, I was kind of sad when they were done. I have never seen workers so focused on what they were doing. My husband, who was around for most of the job was impressed with how focused and quiet they were. I would only recommend this company to do any floor work you need done.

I recently purchased hardwood flooring for one bedroom that would match the same hardwwod in the rest of the house. I called 6 retailers. Justin called me back within 30 mins. with availablity of product,price and pick up date. Twice I had questions about the floor and Justin called the maufacturer to have my questions answered. He was always helpful and courteous.
I never did hear back from 4 of the 6 retailers. I will definitely return to The Floor Shop in the future.

Simply outstanding work by Vojtek and his crew from The Floor Shop. It was not an easy installation and the work is superb. Outstanding attention to detail, finesse and craftsmanship. They were on time and professional throughout.

These folks really want you to be happy with your new hardwood floors. We love our new floors which were installed with great care and precision, on time and at a fair price.We had difficulty deciding on type of wood and they were very helpful and patient.They carry quality products, do excellent work and provide outstanding service.Highly recommended!

Debbie and the Team of installers-Tamas and team from The Floor Shop were excellent to deal with. Debbie helped consult for the best floors based on my criteria and preferences and ensured all my questions and concerns were addressed throughout the process. She is very knowledgeable and followed up at every stage to support me with this project. I commend her and Tamas for the great work, efficiency and amazing service I had to get the floors installed. My condo looks amazing and I love the floors! I have used The Floor Shop in my previous condo , used them for this one and wont hesitate to use them for the future. I will continue to recommend them to my friends. Thank you Debbie and Tamas for the great work!

Did a great job. Looks fantastic. The team finished our floor and stairs in two days, including removing and disposing the old carpet. Did a complete cleanup before they left. Thanks to Wojeck for the beautiful job he did on the stairs. We will recommend them to our friends.

We had a great experience working with all the guys (and gal) at The Floor Shop. Peter was very helpful about what size of board we should use and talked use through all the wood options. They did a wonderful job with the installation even meeting our tight timeline. In fact they were just finishing up the last pieces of the install as our moving trucks pulled up. You did it guys!
