On the recommendation of a friend we contracted the Floor Shop to install floors in our newly purchased condo.The project was completed on time and within the price quoted. The sales and technical staff were professional in every aspect of their jobs, and a pleasure to deal with. They answered our questions and willingly gave advice without ever imposing their ideas. This was a significant investment, and we are pleased that we worked with the Floor Shop to get exactly what we wanted and more.. I would highly recommend this company, and look forward to doing so!

As a single older woman (even working with a designer), undertaking major renovations can be daunting. But no concerns with this company! In 2015 The Floor Shop (Mississauga) supplied laminate flooring for my fathers condo renovation. I was so happy with the service and pricing that without question The Floor Shop supplied and installed the hardwood flooring throughout my house. I hired the Floor Shop's Etobicoke Kingsway location to remove my existing Broadloom and install hardwood floor in my home upstairs which is quite expansive. My husband was concerned that we would not find a company who could meet our expectations - he was completely wrong. The Floor Shop performed an OUTSTANDING JOB! The installers - Thamas and team were on time, did a fantastic job installing the new hardwood floors and worked hard to exceed our expectations. Eight years ago, The Floor Shop supplied and installed hardwood floors throughout my townhouse. They did an excellent job of preparing and installing the floors. I've had no problems whatsoever with the floors. I recently purchased a condo and are currently undergoing renovations. The Floor Shop supplied and installed engineered flooring throughout the condo. Again, the service from start to finish was excellent by everyone. Peter had to source a special attenuation material required for installation in the condo. The installers Bob and Richard were excellent. I would not hesitate recommending The Floor Shop to anyone.

Peter and his team restored this historic house floors and did an outstanding job. Org. 1" Oak as sanded, stained and protected. Plus trim and custom 12" baseboards. The job was done on-time and on-budget. We also had Peter do a custom trim around a granite fireplace. It was quoted well and done with excellence.

The Floor Shop installed our kitchen and main floor hardwood flooring (Mercier Pacific 3/4" x 3 1/4" Satin Chocolate Brown) in 2008 and we have been extremely happy with the flooring ever since. Normally one might not install wood flooring in a kitchen area but with custom solid wood cheery cabinetry including a large island and open log set gas fire place, we wanted to continue the satin chocolate brown flooring into the kitchen area. We have absolutely no regrets and it looks absolutely so beautiful, warm and has proven to be very durable. We entertain a lot and we constantly receive comments about the beautiful flooring.

However, slightly over a year ago we unfortunately had a very small water leak from the fridge which we caught right away but not before it slightly wet four hard wood floor boards 1 ½ ft. in front of the fridge. At the time Peter suggested that rather than replace and glue down some new boards (we had 2 extra boxes from the initial installation… always a good idea to buy an extra box or two of the flooring) the best thing to do now, is to wait upwards to a year for it to really dry out, then we will come by and put a few nails in to stop the minor squeak.

I called Peter in April 2016, he remembered the call and within two days a service person completed the repair. Thank you so much for the very prompt repair service!
