Last week I was preparing for a trip out west to visit family. I loaded up the washing machine with clothes I wanted to take with me. Fifteen minutes later I went into the laundry room and found a full flood underway. I quickly shut off the washing machine which stopped the flood but did nothing about the washing machine full of water.
I called the Appliance Guy and left messages on his cell phone, land line, and then sent an email. This was at 10.00 am. Shortly before 11.00 am I got a phone call from Joe, asking for details, checking to be sure the flood had stopped, assuring me he would help me out. He explained he had another appointment scheduled but would check with them to see if he could reschedule, since I had a flood. If that was possible, he would be there within 45 minutes. If not it was not possible, I was not to worry… he would definitely find a way to reach me that day and fix the problem. True to his word, 45 minutes later there was a knock on my door. 30 minutes later the problem was resolved. Joe had quickly diagnosed the problem, emptied the washing machine, got the part needed from his truck, repaired the machine, put it through a trail run to ensure everything was fine and that was it. Everything was fixed, and I could continue with my washing.
Joe was courteous, knowledgeable and a delight to work with. He also provided some very helpful advice on an upcoming purchase of a new fridge.
