Tender Touch Moving & Storage

Moving was ok. Moving coordinator was disorganized, took forever to accept payment for move, difficult to reach on phone/email.

We established that they would send the same trailer truck that would be moving my goods across the country, so that I wouldn't have to pay for a small truck to pick up the goods, and for the goods to be transferred between trucks. I sent them a map and pictures of the route they should take to get to my location. My goods were in a storage locker, the location accommodates large trailer trucks all the time.
Instead, they showed up with a small truck to pick up the goods, with no explanation offered. It's not clear to me from the final invoice whether they charged extra for this. I tried to communicate with them after the move, to clarify, but received no response.

The goods were delivered fine, except for a couple of tables. They disassembled some of my furniture to make it fit in their trailer truck (not previously agreed on). They did not reassemble it on delivery, just left the parts on the floor of the new place.

3 friendly moving guys arrived on time and immediately went into action. They placed protective mats on the floors and started covering all the furniture and within 3 hours they were out of the house and on the road to London Ontario, where they quickly and efficiently emptied the truck and placed in our storage unit until our house is ready to move in. This was the first time my family had used professional movers to help with a residential move and we were a bit nervous. From the first interaction, Tender Touch set our minds at ease. Maria was always polite and prompt in her responses. On the day of the move, the team showed up right at 9am as scheduled. They got to work and efficiently packed up my entire house, wrapping furniture, dismantling bedframes, etc. They took great care of everything, continuously asked for my feedback on what they were doing and wouldn't let me lift a finger! Once at my new home, they were very careful while unloading our belongings and put everything in its place. Nothing was broken, nothing is missing and I think it was a very successful move, thanks to the team at Tender Touch!!

We hired Tender Touch to pack our home contents on the first day and to move us from North York to Oakville on the second day. We couldn't have been happier. Not only did everything go off without a hitch, but every single guy was a pleasure to deal with. They worked so hard and clearly they aimed to please. The move was absolutely amazing and we were completely happy. We can't thank the guys enough, especially Pedro and Phil.

Our initial consult with Jason went extremely well. He was very informative and a consummate professional. I found Maria and Jessica very accomodating on the phone. On the day of the move I had the typical concerns
but, Earl and his crew took all of that away.
They did an amazing job and I am still shocked
at how smooth it all went off without a hitch. It
is by far the best moving operation I have ever dealt with.

I don't usually give a 10 in any rating but Tender Touch earned it.
They brought in a crew of 5 for our move from the GTA to Sudbury.
Jason looked after everything from the sales contact to crew chief at both ends and driver. I had another commitment during the move but that didn't matter as there was nothing to be concerned about.
I would highly recommend this crew and company.
