I purchased furnace, AC and a water tank. It was written on my contract that Shipton's would return my current (2014) water tank to Reliance. They instead claim to have "scrapped it" because they couldn't reach us to get a Reliance return number? In the end, after receiving some collections calls from Reliance, Scott Shipton stepped up and paid the $1,250 to Reliance to cover the cost of the lost tank. Aside from the confusion with the tank, the service was good and we're happy with our new furnace and AC.

I purchased furnace, AC and a water tank. It was written on my contract that Shipton's would return my current (2014) water tank to Reliance. They instead claim to have "scrapped it" because they couldn't reach us to get a Reliance return number? They called once and they didn't mention that they were going to scrap the tank. They made that call on their own, and then told me to tell Reliance that I'd like to void my contract. On what planet can you just walk away, and keep the equipment!? I've now received a $1,200 bill from Reliance for the tank that I do not have. Shipton's assured me they would take care of it, but they've not followed through. I'm writing this right now because I've just received another call from Reliance stating that Shiptons has not been in touch and that my account is going to be sent to collections. This has been the worst $10,000 purchase of my life. Do not use Shiptons.
