In short the warranty team is always trying to interrupt you, tell you their rules and regulations in a very combative way. But they did not do any basic research at all. They do not even border to check the history of the repair.

All they want to do is to tell you. "Sorry the warranty is over, please deal it by yourself."

We had a kitchen update; everything except the cabinets. Since Qualico installed these cabinets 20 years ago, it’s a testament to their quality workmanship and my house cleaning abilities that they didn’t need replacing. Danny always recommends quality products and, if there are any issues, they are taken care of to the customers satisfaction even years later. The only thing I would change would be NOT tiling all the way to the floor BEHIND the stove where it’s not visible. That’s just a waste of money.

We needed a second exit for our basement and decided to transform a small window into an escape exit. Qualico ordered the special window for us and enlarged the opening to the right size to make it a legal escape route. He then custom built the exterior window well and finished it professionally. We were very happy with the results

On a recommendation from friends, we have used Qualico on several occasions. They are pains-taking, professional, execute to a high standard and in a timely manner, not to mention personable. They are fair priced. They stand behind their work. They are careful about sourcing quality materials. Their workers convey this culture. They will not try to pass off work by if sub-contractor turns out to be unsatisfactory. They also seem prepared to take on smaller projects, often scorned by other contractors. We have been dealing with Qualico since 2001 when Danny renovated our kitchen and there began the start of an excellent business relationship that has spanned over 13 years. Over those years Qualico has remodelled our dining room, upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, repaired our chimney and performed tuckpointing, built our fence, waterproofed a basement wall, replaced our roof and front doors, added crown moulding and baseboard trim and installed aluminium railings to our front porch. The railings were replaced in 2003 and they still look so good we had a neighbour inquire about our contractor and Danny is now doing work on a regular basis for them. We are currently booked to have Qualico replace bedroom windows and repair cracked stucco ceilings.

Qualico equals QUALITY and, although you may pay more, you will get expert workmanship, pride in the job and commitment to service. Highly recommended.

Danny first renovated our bathroom and we were extremely satisfied. The quality of his work was exceptional and his crew were reliable, punctual, tidy and very talented. We later called him to do our basement after a flood and we were equally happy as he tested with monitors to make sure there was no mold or other issues we might have to worry about later. When we decided on a major addition to our second floor we knew the only company we could trust was Qualico and I wouldn't have considered even doing this massive project if Danny couldn't agree to take it on. Although Danny might prefer doing smaller renovations for home he agreed to take on this complex project. Danny and his crew did an exceptional job on the 200 sq foot addition above the garage. Following blueprints he built a bedroom (hardwood floors), full ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, a hallway skylight and renovated a main floor bathroom affected by the reno.. He is so skillful he was also able to do the external brickwork and stucco work himself . He patiently waited for a special order on the roof trusses because he insisted on installing only the best for our home. I never worry using Danny because if I have a small concern he addresses it immediately. His prices are excellent when you consider the quality and 150% customer service he gives. Many neighbours called him as soon as they saw our completed job and I'm happy to see his truck on our street often doing all kinds of different jobs.
