Peel Heating & Air Conditioning

My family and I were left without any heat suddenly on a random Sunday night. I contacted Peel Heating and they had arranged for a technician to attend within 24hrs. When the technician (Tamer) arrived, he was very pleasant and very interested in the details with the issue.

After a brief description of the issue, Tamer wasted no time getting started with the diagnosis. Shortly after, to my surprise, he was explaining the root cause of the furnace failure. He explained what he thought had caused the failure and what he believes is the correct approach for a repair.

As disappointed as I was to hear a fairly new (less than 4 year old) Lennox icomfort touchscreen thermostat had failed, I was also satisfied with the explanation and diagnosis. Tamer was very informative and very professional in his approach, performed what I call a soft sell. He also discussed alternative options, and ideas which I may be interested in.

Tamer advised that someone from Peel will be in contact with me to quote the repair and arrange for the parts to be ordered. In the meantime Tamer had managed to temporarily set up our furnace to operate manually until the new thermostat was in stock. As minor as it may seem for him to rig up the furnace to operate temporarily, it was a big deal for us and our 18 month old little girl.

The next afternoon Peel called back regarding the cost of the repair. They suggested that there may be a warranty coverage and that they will look into it and get back to me.

I was elated to hear back from Peel a few hours later. "Your thermostat is covered under a parts warranty, we can have it installed next day." Phew!!!! A savings of over $600. Thank you Jesus!!! My confidence in the Lennox product instantly returned.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone who inquires. They get an A++ from me. Their white glove service is exceptional and their expertise is 2nd to none.

It's hard to find repair people in any field who take their jobs seriously and are proud of their work. Tamer is definitely one of those rarities. He wants the job done right the first time. His knowledge, pride, and expertise shows in his clean work.
