Maytag Store The

My parents, who have worked hard all their lives and bought top of the line washer and dryer set. They paid over $2500 brand new, and paid extended warranty. The set has caused them nothing but problems. After the second wash and dry they knew the machines were not what the sales said it was. Clothing that was ruined, brought it to the attention of the sales associates and they said there are no refunds. How could you take advantage of people like this. It may not be a lot of money to you but to my parents it was a big purchase!!! I will never nor will my parents ever buy maytag again!

Bought the full kitchen set and laundry pairs at the Maytag month event at Heartland, Mississauga. The price was okay compared to other retailers.

The salesperson, BR, was good and knowledgeable.

A week later, I discovered the same kind of deal at other retailer with $200 cheaper for the same set. I phoned the salesperson to ask for price match.

It was disappointing that he was not willing to match and provided reason that the store policy does not match "INTERNET" price. This was an excuse. I could just go get him the flyer at the store. I didn't not insist in the end since overall it's still within the budget - save some time here.

For others who are actively looking to purchase from Maytag store, remember to ask for a written price match policy. It's better to do FULL research before paying and shipping.

I regretted that I had recommended a friend who ended up purchasing fridge and freezer on the same week.

For store owner/management, please work on your price match policy and pricing to be more competitive. Keep the good service.

We had some issues with the washer but the store followed up very well. They increased our warranty for the trouble and sent us a free gift ( Kitchen Aid Knife set). Wouldn't recommend the refrigerator as the icemaker never has really worked well. Staff were excellent and very helpful

I purchased the Neptune Drying Center 3 years ago. It is an All-in-one design. The lower portion tumble dries the clothes while the upper drying cabinet gently dries the clothes and reduces shrinkage and damage. It also removes odours. You can freshen your "dry clean only" clothes and save money. This drying center is the best!

Maytag is still leading the pack in with its appliances and service! Chase, our salesperson, was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and gave honest advice, especially considering this was our first appliance purchase for our new home. They honoured the price matching guarantees and made sure we got the best deals out there. We ended up buying 4 appliances, and the warranty. The only drawback is that the light in our microwave blew fairly quickly, but we still love all of our appliances.
