Kitchen pot lights

A basement job was priced out for me first and the quote I recieved was completely reasonable for the work that neded to be done. But, after some time and reconsideration, we decided the kitchen need help first. I AM SO HAPPY! They were professional, pleasent, and very understanding of the daycare I ran right next to the kitchen. I LOVE my new lights! The job was done quickly and, for once, at a price I felt I could afford.

competent and friendly, Kiya gets the job done!

Our house was built in the 20's, and the wiring was a mess. It was mostly knob and tube, with some grounded lines, the basement ceiling was filled with junction boxes all over the place.

I hired Kiya after getting quotes from 2 other electricians. Important to me was finding someone who's dealt with older homes, as I have alot of plaster and I wanted to try to keep the wall/ceiling damage to a minimum.

Kiya and his team arrived on time every morning, and had the job completed in 8 days.

He recommended good spots for additional outlets, and he patched up the holes me made. We made use of my existing 100 amp service, with my existing breaker panel. Other electricians told me i'd need to add a sub panel in order to add more outlets to the 2nd floor but Kiya had no problem making things work, I even have a few blank spots for additional breakers later on. Now our house is up to code, with more outlets, 3 interconnected co/smoke alarms, additional outside plugs etc.

I would not hesitate to use Kiya again, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a reasonably priced competent electrician. Thanks Kiya!

New Basement Wiring

I was very impressed with the knowledge and time that Kia took in explaining what needed to be done. He has the experience to know what goes where and how many are needed for either voltage or lighting. He took the time to explain why and how things were going to be done. Kia and his employees were always on time and respectful. Thanks KIA!!

Replacement of all knob and tube, lighting installation

We hired Kia to replace all knob and tube and ungrounded wires in a 60 year-old home. Our experience with Kia was great right from the beginning. When he initially visited for a quote, he gave us great ideas of where to put plugs, and how to best divide the circuits. He and his team were always on time. One of the outstanding aspects of his work was that very little damage was done to the existing walls when he was replacing wires. The small holes that he did create were patched up. Kia's techniques and ideas were top notch, and he stands by his work. Overall, his work was of great quality, it was on time and on budget. We would re-hire him for further work, and highly recommend him to others.

Electrical work for kitchen renovation

We had to quickly find a new electrician after the relationship with our contractor turned sour (too many shortcuts taken) and we had to fire him. We had framing going up and spray foam about to be installed, so the electrical work had to be done pronto. We called around a few places and found that Kia was the only one who would be able to do the work on such short notice. Usually I would be skeptical when someone can do a job on short notice, but we had no choice. I soon figured out why could take it on. Kia works like a man possessed! He does long hours and goes completely out of his way to satisfy client requests.

The day before the spray foam company was to arrive he stayed until 8pm to make sure everything was ready. There were a number of issues with the old wiring in the kitchen and Kia had to run new wires to all outlets, hook up thermostat for in-floor heating, install new potlights, under-cabinet lighting and we even got him to pull some speaker wire for us. Everything was done quickly, but properly.

When he came back to complete the job he again worked well into the evening, making sure to take no shortcuts. When I contacted him a few weeks later because I wasn't satisfied with how one of the dimmers were working, he came over after a few days (on the weekend!) and changed the dimmer. No complaints, no questions asked - he truly values client satisfaction!

I would recommend Kia without a doubt and would definitely use him again for future jobs. He's quirky, but he is a true professional - something that it's hard to find these days.

electrical panel upgrade

I have purchased an old house which needed an electrical paned change.
After calling few people I found Kiya was the most quick one to respond. also his quote was the most competitive in the industry. he was also quick to come by and gave me a free estimate. I was really so very impressed by his suggestion and knowledge. I booked 5th August 9am for the job. he was not only on time rather few minutes early, which was great.
He had done fantastic work. Beside the panel change he also changed so many outlet because the outlets I had was really old or not working properly.
I called him last week again to install 2 GFI switch in my washroom. As usual, fantastic work.
called him again for another service which he will coming next week to complete.
he is a very sincere and hard working man. I wish him the best.

Removal knob and tube wiring

Kiya promptly gave us a quote after a complementary thorough assessment of the job: removal of the remaining knob and tube in our home. The price was great considering it included patching and plastering of holes. Kiya and his team were available to start this job within days of quoting and completed it well ahead of schedule. Kiya went above and beyond to ensure the wiring meets the highest standards. He obviously takes great pride in a job well done and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
