Hillcrest Plumbing & Heating 1967 Ltd

We were away on holiday and a friend had to call in a plumber , we recommended Hillcrest. They came and spent 5 hours and charged us 860.0 when we arrived home 2 days later the main drain plugged again. I called them back and they said they would need to rent a camera to investigate why but I would have to pay the rental. Desperate to repair I agreed. They came spent 1 hour and left not repairing the issue and told us to call the city. We called the city , they fixed the drain and Hillcrest is asking us for another $400. I am loathe to pay them any more as they didn't fix the issue, leaving me very frustrated. I would not recommend this company. My neighbor told me after the fact she has also had issues with them.

My kitchen faucett was made by price phister. I searched many wholesalers and hardware stores, but could not find anyone who carried parts for this brand. I finally called Hillcrest Plumbing, and they not only had exactly what I wanted, they also offered me excellent advice. I plan on using them again in the future. Thankyou Hillcrest.

Hillcrest was very helpful to my wife and I when we renovated our main bathroom. We had them install a heat "Regulater" for the shower, re-plumb one sink to two and also install the sinks including faucets. They were on time, professional and qualified.

The only thing I can say that is not praise is that we did have a supervisor come back to reseal the sinks. It was handled with the utmost respect and professionalism as well. This was only requested for appearance, the original job was sufficient.

Good old fashioned over the counter plumbing counter. Always a plumber on service that is knowledgeable about parts & good free DOY advice,. open at 8am most days so easy to get to.

The staff at this store on Main Street are SO well informed and know SO much about everything to do with plumbing and drainage, taps, pipes etc., and also very helpful when trying to match or fix old sinks, toilets and tubs in an old house. They stock unusual parts and obsolete fittings you can't find anywhere else. They also have high and low end options for most of their stock. Over the years, I've spent lots there and always happy with the service.

I phoned several companies in Vancouver asking about a plumbing problem and a furnace servicing at the same time. All of them required 2 separate contractors - one for the furnace and one for the plumbing. Hillcrest was the only one that offered someone who was willing/able to do both in one visit. Made it a much more efficient use of my time and less of a scheduling nightmare. Turned out that my furnace was already in pretty good order and he charged my minimally for that portion of the job.

They were nice to deal with. Helpful if you had any questions. They have resonable prices. I woud go back to them again. We are about to do another renovation using them.

I was very satisfied with the service provided. The serviceman was very efficient and did not try to sell me any extra unneeded services. I was happy because another serviceman from another company had told me that I needed to replace the furnace but Hillcrest said it was unnecessary to replace it.
