We were away on holiday and a friend had to call in a plumber , we recommended Hillcrest. They came and spent 5 hours and charged us 860.0 when we arrived home 2 days later the main drain plugged again. I called them back and they said they would need to rent a camera to investigate why but I would have to pay the rental. Desperate to repair I agreed. They came spent 1 hour and left not repairing the issue and told us to call the city. We called the city , they fixed the drain and Hillcrest is asking us for another $400. I am loathe to pay them any more as they didn't fix the issue, leaving me very frustrated. I would not recommend this company. My neighbor told me after the fact she has also had issues with them.

This review is very unfair and the whole story not told. Our plumber could not unblock the sewer line and determined it was separated at the city's connection. The customer REQUESTED that a video inspection of the sewer line be done and agreed to pay for the machine rental if we did not charge any labour. We provided this service and confirmed the separation was at the city connection AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPAIRED BY THE CITY. When a bill was presented to the customer for the video camera rental (no labour charge) they refused to pay the fee.
