Harbour Appliance Service Ltd

Harbour has been purchased by A Plus Appliance, and Harbour was owned and operated by an honest, hard working man; therefore, people are continuing to refer to Harbour Appliance. Unfortunately the new owner, A Plus Appliance, came to my home to repair my washing machine and left without providing a service, and attempted to charge me $120.00. He did not pull out the washing machine, did not look at any of it's working parts, and did not actually do anything to diagnose the problem. Within 2 minutes, my husband pulled the washing machine out, had the rotor removed and determined it was the rotor which had been stripped.

I feel that I was taken advantage of, and misled. He did not perform the service we had intended for him to perform. To not even pull out the washing machine and look at it's working parts??? I do not understand.

This company was recommended to me by a co-worker quite a few years ago when my washing machine was acting up. The gentleman Jim also the owner, came very promptly as promised and was able to diagnose the problem right away. While he was working on the machine, he also explained how the part works, and got my machine running in less than half hour. I was very impressed by his expertise, honesty and integrity (a rare find). I gave 5 stars all the way and would highly recommend this company.

I have been using Jim Pugh at Harbour Appliance for 20 years for household plumbing installing garberator, new supply lines and shutoff valves and repairing laundry machines and dishwasher. Jim is always prompt courteous and always gets the job done right at a fair price.

I had a crack in my oven door that needed to be replaced and door was ordered and replaced within a couple of days. I have used Jim (who is also the owner of the company) for numerous other appliances, refrigerator freezer icemaker, dishwasher and he has always been able to fix the problem. As he is a sole owner, he is very busy and sometimes, you may have to wait to get it fixed, but once he starts on your project, he is committed to getting it done properly. My icemaker in my freezer required numerous visits and he continued to work on it until it was repaired. Trustworthy and honest.
