We purchased a new 3-way shower fixture which required experienced work to install. Two estimates were provided - one for Alex to remove tiles and open up the plumbing and to replace tiles afterwards. The other estimate was by the plumber to install the shower fittings. A confirmation was issued for a Monday where the majority of the work was to be completed. It only required the plumber to return the following day to check out the installation.
On the promised date Alex came on time and removed tile, etc. However, the plumber did not arrive as promised and the office could not locate him but sent another plumber to check out the requirements. He was not confident with the job and so the company eventually were able to contact the original plumber and have him come the following day (Tuesday) around noon. He installed the 3-way shower but could not find a back plate for the shower head so installed the old one. Alex came back that same day to finish up with new tiles, caulking etc. and did an excellent job.
The following day the plumber returned to check out the installation and everything seemed to be fine. However, while I was cleaning up I found the correct back plate for the shower head on the bathroom floor. Also the spout into the bathtub was loose around the tile and it appeared it would come out of the wall (as it turned out that was not the case). However we called Handyman Connection who arranged for the plumber to come back the following day and he installed the back plate and re-caulked the tub spout. The shower installation is now working well.
