Definitely the worst experience from a new build that we've had as of yet.
Sales was fine....of course. They have to grab your money first.
Decor was a joke. No consistency in pricing, even with people who have the same home model and upgrade choices. It feels as though they just made the prices up as they went, hence the inconsistencies, because they can't remember what they told the last customer!
Many errors during construction....thank god we didn't listen to them about not entering the home during construction, because if we did, we would have had wrong tile in some rooms, as well as many other errors. They make it seem as though they are doing you a favour when you catch these errors and they fix them, but ultimately, you signed off on "legal" documents that they must follow...they will often remind you of that...if you want a change in something after your decor appointment, they refer to it as a legal document that can't be changed. That's clearly a load. So I would just throw that same comment back in their face when they made a mistake...."Well, you know, you must follow the signed legal document...". That would generally work.
After closing, 3 leaks in the first month, all from the master ensuite, into the kitchen. Among many other items that still need to be repaired. Our one year form will be extensive.
None of their employees understand concept of apology. If apologies were provided, and they were more professional in their approach with their customers, a lot of the headaches would be deflected.
They will call you when they need something from you, but if you need service from them, it's a game of telephone tag.
It's only a matter of time before bad word of mouth and proof of poor workmanship will hurt this company...unless they change their approach to customer service.
We love our floorplan and location...that's the one positive comment we can make about our home. Site supers/Managers at all levels need proper training. For a mature company, they come across as very amateur.
