I hired Forever Stone Design to complete my backyard project. Before I contracted a pool company to install an in ground pool I did some research by talking to friends who went through this process already, and their advice was to have the pool installed but to go with a company that deals with hardscaping instead of the pool companies to complete the project because they do not specialize in this area of expertise. I had a pool company install the pool and they do try to pressure you into having them complete the rest of the project but I’m glad I went with Mimmo because he knows what stone is best suited for the area, they wanted to put interlock when Mimmo suggested something different and better and I felt better knowing that Mimmo was on the job and not that he subcontracts to other companies to complete the project. My backyard is an oasis, Mimmo created a waterfall feature coming into my pool, my patio design is unique with borders and the colour scheme compliments the total area, he even knows all the other trades needed such as the sprinkler system and etc… I had installed which I didn’t need to hunt around because it was all coordinated before the work was started which saves time and headaches for me. Mimmo can envision the completed project even before he starts even if you can’t, which in that situation was me but let me tell you, when he’s finished, your mouth will hang open because of the beauty he created. When you read the other reviews posted, you will know he’s the right one for you, he’s not the cheapest but not the most expensive either and if you what something that lasts for years to come without problems then I suggest you give him a try, I was glad I did!!!

Mimmo and his team did an exceptional job when renovating our front steps, driveway, veranda and back patio. Mimmo is very knowledgeable and helped us with the design as well as with the choice of stones. We would highly recommend Mimmo and his band of craftsmen as they truly are professionals in their field. While they weren't the least expensive quote, they were the best choice. You get what you pay for and they are worth every penny! We absolutely love our outdoor living space! Thank you Mimmo for a job well done!

Mimmo and his team at Forever stone design are true craftsmen when it comes to designing a project and completing it. His eye for detail is exceptional and it shows in his work. He is very honest with his clients and not one of those pushy people at all. He will give you the price and the booking schedule at the time. A word of advise ..when he gives you a price don't think about it tool long because he books up quickly and is in demand. This happened to me last year when I took too long to make up my mind and when I did call he was already booked for the year. I had to book for the following year and my neighbours who went with another contractor, were sorry they did. It is worth it to wait for Mimmo and you will definitely not be disappointed. I am continuously complemented on the front of my home especially by people who are familiar with flagstone installation and I am convinced I chose the right contractor.

Mimmo far exceeded our expectations. The work was completed early and he recommended ideas that resulted in a much better outcome. Professional and reliable is how I would describe Forever Stone Design.

We recently had Forever Stone Design do interlocking on our driveway and walkway and it looks fantastic! I'm so happy to have finally gotten this done. I would have Mimmo and his team come back for other projects in the future! They were clean, and quick and easy to have around! I highly recommend them :)

We used Forever Stone to do a garden, walkway and stairs to our front door. The work was done to a very high standard and exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful. After the brutal winter ice storm, our front steps essentially fell apart. After contacting Mimmo through HomeStars, he suggested we recover the steps with a more durable stone (old stone = slate, new stone = flagstone). The team did a professional job completing the steps (including a great job siding around a pesky gas meter). The team was one time, and completed it in the agreed upon time frame. Mimmo even referred me to a railing company to get the railings replaced.

Mimmo has done many projects for us. We are consistently impressed by the professionalism of the service and the quality of the work. The follow up and attention to detail is second to none.

Do you need BEAUTIFUL, top drawer, first class interlock/patio work? This is the company for you! Mimmo took pity on an "old" lady and agreed to do my small job - but WHAT A JOB!!! It took Mimmo no time to design something that suited my house and took into consideration my own ideas.
The front walkway was completely dug out, proper screening used, the brick was laid meticulously and it LOOKS GORGEOUS! The entire crew was polite, tidy and the only hint that they were even there was a forgotten packet of cigarettes! Oh, and they showed up ON TIME. I received exceptional value for my money as well as a 1 year warranty.

Mimmo and his crew did a wonderful job with our backyard and front walkway. We are quite happy with the final product. He was professional, efficient, and clean. I had to book him in late October 2013 for this spring 2014 project, and my only suggestion would be that extra time could be taken during the estimate process to explain some of the different paver/stone options available with differential pricing, preferred use of sealant, and pros/cons of certain pavers as I think our initial meeting seem somewhat rushed. However, I realize Mimmo is very busy, and I do very much appreciate him accommodating our requests. What I liked most was that he was always there and accessible, that he did the work himself (rather than sub-contracting it), and the workmanship definitely shows. Thank you again.
