We have used the services of Andre on multiple occasions now. First time was when we were renovating our living room. 2nd time was when we were renovating our business office and the 3rd time just couple of months ago when we renovated our kitchen. Needless to say we are very happy with Andrea. Furthermore, Andrea also saved us a lot of money with her Trade Discounts when purchasing furniture and accessories from brand name stores such as Restoration Hardware and Elte.
We would highly recommend Andrea.

We worked with Andrea Coleman from Fine Finishes, and hired her services to help us plan our open concept with a tiny kitchen apartment. She was great, offering a lot of practical ideas for our small kitchen, offering lots of storage solutions that were cost effective and efficient, always keeping functionality at the forefront. She also answered questions via email afterwards, if you have follow up questions in the rooms discussed in the meeting, which I think is a great value-add.

She charged $175/hr at the time with a minimum of 2 hrs. Compared to other designers on Homestar with a similar rating, other designers charged $200/hr for a minimum of 3 hours, which was a bit too much for what we needed.

Although we did not buy boutique/more custom furniture for our space, I learned if you're looking for more unique furniture (i.e., not IKEA), working with Andrea provides even more value, as she works with boutique furniture wholesalers and if able to access discounts not available to the public.

We highly recommend Andrea and her services, and would definitely work with her on future and more large scale projects when the time comes.

As a consulting Interim Office Manager to a mid-sized law firm in Etobicoke, I was tasked with the job of finding a designer to help us "refresh" our law firm's reception area, boardrooms and washrooms. We primarily dealt with Andrea and were very pleased with results. We found Andrea to be extremely professional, talented, accommodating, transparent in her pricing and she expressed the needed amount of assertiveness in the decision making process with multiple partners and managers to get things moving along to meet deadlines. This is the second room renovation that we have done with Andrea and Nelson, and I must say, I have never been happier. This last project just finished was the transformation of a shabby 1980's living room (complete with red broadloom rug and popcorn ceiling...) into something absolutely GORGEOUS that could have come out of a magazine!
In fact, now when I walk by, I have to suddenly stop and do a double take - it still feels surreal.
The whole process of working with Andrea and Nelson is so accommodating, they are so easy to talk to, and they really listen. They are both very receptive to our needs, honest, trustworthy and of the highest integrity. I can't wait for our next project - they will be our first and only choice.

When I called Fine Finishes, I had already started my renovation project. I was redoing my bathroom, updating my kitchen, and changing the flooring throughout the condo I recently purchased. I had hired a contractor recommended by my real estate agent, which turned out to be a big mistake.

Well, one night, I was sitting on the floor, surrounded by tile samples, and was totally overwhelmed. I found Fine Finishes on HomeStars, and met with Andrea. She was amazing. She quickly navigated through my sea of samples, and helped me select my tiles and hardwood, as well as paint colours (all of which look fabulous).

Andrea is very capable and knowledgeable, and I have come to rely on her expertise and attention to detail. I don't think I could have made it through this reno without her advice and support. She truly cares about her clients, and the success of the project. Since our first meeting, she has been with me every step of the way, helping me navigate through all the challenges that have come up (and are still coming up) with my contractor. When needed, she has also referred competent tradespeople to help me complete my renovation.

My only regret is not calling Andrea before starting the renovation. If you are thinking about renovating, don't make the same mistake I did - call Fine Finishes BEFORE you start, to help you plan your project and to find competent, reliable tradespeople. Believe me, you will save yourself a lot of stress.

I found Fine Finishes through an online search and read the extensive reviews on HomeStars as well. I was in DIRE need of help selecting colours for my eintire home and had left the decision to the last minute as I was really uncomfortable with this stage of the home renovation process. We are in the middle of a complete remodel and 'decision fatigue' had really set in. Andrea was amazing and truly saved the day. Professional, courteous, timely, attentive and truly an expert at her craft, it was a very real pleasure to work with Andrea.

A realtor friend reccommended Andrea to help me with colour choices for the trim on our century home. I was nervous about going ahead with such a large and expensive project without some help and backup. A quickly scheduled appointment and a professional consult later and I feel very confident with the colour choices. I have been left with colour swatches and notes on what we discussed. Very pleased.

We purchased our home 2 years ago and although it was nicely painted we found the colours too restricting (and dark). After trying many sample pots of paint from Benjamin Moore we decided to call in a professional. I found Andrea on homestars.ca. She was prompt and very professional.
