We recently hired Fieldstone to replace the front door on our 105 year old Victorian home with a custom made african mahogany door. There were some delays in getting the door built and shipped to Toronto, and in scheduling the installation, but the quality of the door and the installation services was exceptional. We invested a lot of money to have a stand-out entrance and the Fieldstone product was well worth it. It makes a huge impact to have a high quality entrance to your home and we feel we have the nicest front door on the block!

- Set better expectations on possible manufacturing delays and on factors which can delay installation (e.g., weather).
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Spend the time doing research on the right materials, colour, and hardware to suit your need and style. We found Fieldstone very helpful but they, like other door companies, have standards they will propose, so if you want to deviate, you just need to do some research and ask.
