Last year we purchased two side chairs from a great store on King Street East, Toronto. This past Christmas we also purchased a new silk and viscose area rug for our living room. We noticed some staining on the back of one chair likely due to hair products rubbing off in that one spot. We had also read that silk rugs are durable but any viscose content would wear over time based on foot traffic.

Fiber Protection Services came highly recommended from the store we bought our chairs. It was easy to make arrangements with Paul and he was able to provide us with an estimate and some advice about the chair, namely whether a spot cleaning might work vs. a full cleaning before protection.

Paul came to our condo and brought along a great father and son team who did a great job spot cleaning the chair. They were all very informative and it was great customer service. The team then went on to protect both chairs and our silk and viscose rug. Rates were very reasonable and the estimated fee for the chair spot cleaning was reduced as it was a small area. The fiber protection kit is great to have and we now know how to treat any future stains.

The chairs and rug only needed 4 hours drying before we could use them again. Impressive.
