Ewen Cameron Master Carpenter & Cabinetmaker

A rare breed in the contracting business. Keeps to his timelines and schedule of work, honours his quotes and is very helpful with design decisions.
We contacted Ewen on a Monday and by Friday are cabinets were installed. Excellent service and cabinetry from a true professional. He was easy to talk to and came up with solutions that worked for our space.
We are thrilled with the cabinets and plan on having more work done in the near future!

Ewen has done several jobs for us and everything has been done perfectly. He has a sense of design, is completely trust worthy and works independently.

I've had a lot of less-than good carpenters and trades people work on my property and I've learned that while I may be able to find less expensive workers than Ewen, I pay more in the long run as the work often needs to be redone and fixed in short order.

Professionals like Ewen do the work quickly and do it properly so it only needs to be done once. I strongly recommend him for big or small jobs.

Ewen installed baseboards, doors and trim, along with the Kitchen Cabinets, shelves, etc. He's fast and efficient and very professional. Always arrived on time and did what he said he would

Ewen amazed me by doing the job only two days after coming out and giving us a quote. We had no railing at the top of our stairs, and Ewen talked to us about the design options. He suggested using glass panels to open up the space, and we went with that. It looks great!

Ewen did a great job, nothing more need be said. My porch looks great and my neighbours have been complimenting me on it for several months now.

Friend of the missus told us about the quality and reliability of Ewen and his work. We gave him a call, arranged an inspect and quote, and listed to his helpful ideas and constructive suggestions for the job to be done. He was on time...imagine that, these days when you have all these clowns running around claiming to be "Contrators" or other tradespeople, while really they may talk a good yarn, but are nothing more than glorified "do-it-yourselfers" that take you and your wallet for an expensive ride while wasting your precious time. Ewen, as I mentioned, values your time, says what has to be said as he clearly knows his stuff, with well over 20 years experience, does the job very well, cleans up afterwards, treats your home with respect, and communicates to you should things arise. He also has a good sense of humour and doesn't make you feel like a fool if you ask a basic question about what you want done. In short, someone I would recommend for your own project.

I challenged him with a contemporary design for a feature wall and he was genuinely excited about it. Although the pieces he built for me are spectacular, Ewan didn't stop there.

He became a valuable member of the whole reno team, working with the architect and contractors to pitch in on design & construction details. He put his time, experience and heart into this project and it shows.

A fantastic job. Ewen was very fast at getting back to me in regards to the job. He kept me up to date on the start date and time of our project. Excellent workmanship, very clean and tidy.We had Ewen hang/install eight custom made wood doors, with glass s, he also installed all of the door trim. We will use Ewen again in the future.
