I was expecting my new kitchen cabinets to arrive sometime in January but the contractor surprised me with a pre-Chistmas delivery. It was less than ten days until Christmas, the cabinets were ready to come in and I had a wall filled with electrical, phone & cable outlets to be moved on short notice. Called several Homestars electricians who either said no or promised to have a look but never showed. Then I called Dennis and everything changed. He was out to see me within hours and sent me a quote that evening. Within a day he'd freed up a half a day to come in with another electrician to do it all. The quote was higher than I expected but I accepted it to get the job down. I got far more than I paid for though. Dennis provides incredible service, explains what needs doing and why, he's very personable and watches the details. Best of all I have complete confidence that my kitchen is safely wired. And the cabinets came in two days later so all was well in the end. Thanks Dennis

Ewan's talent is beyond reproach and he's fun to work with too. I challenged him with a contemporary design for a feature wall and he was genuinely excited about it. Although the pieces he built for me are spectacular, Ewan didn't stop there. He became a valuable member of the whole reno team, working with the architect and contractors to pitch in on design & construction details. He put his time, experience and heart into this project and it shows. His great skills as a master carpenter are only part of the package when you work with Ewan! On time, on budget. Perfect!

Mark & Paul bent over backwards to make this renovation a pleasure. They brought nothing but enthusiasm, professionalism, know-how and flexibility to this project and it shows. These are good, honest, hard working and talented guys who really want the best for their clients. And their team of subcontractors share those values as well. My architect & I challenged them with a unique design filled with fussy, contemporary details. They took it all on cheerfully and were genuinely delighted to tackle new ideas and add to their skill set. It's so refreshing to work with experienced people who aren't stuck on doing things the way they've always done them before. On time, on budget, beyond expectations. Daniel couldn't have been more creative, detail-oriented or focussed on the project if he tried. He worked closely with me throughout the process to ensure that my vision would be realized. But the end result is far beyond any of my hopes or expectations. And the contractors loved working with him on the innovative designs and solutions he devised. I wanted a contemporary design with mid-century flair and he gave that to me in spades. And best of all, he gave me what I wanted without obliterating the charm of my 1920's house! I can't recommend Daniel and his firm highly enough.
