Karol came in and landscaped our entire backyard with care and with great recommendations -- completely transformed. He delivered at an extremely reasonable price and met our expectations fully. We highly recommend Karol.

We found European Contracting on this website last summer and we have not looked back! After reading all of their great reviews (and learning that they were actually legit!) we called Karol to get the ball rolling. He returned our call promptly, met with us at our convenience and things got underway quickly. Karol and his team are terrific to work with, highly experienced, personable, trustworthy, creative and very flexible. With his help, we now have a beautiful basement reno complete with hardwood, workout room, gas fireplace, crown molding, pot lights and a beautiful bathroom. Karol renovated my tiny condo kitchen last year and I liked it so much I hired him again to redo my bathroom. We were on a tight timeline because we were planning to sell the condo, plus we were going to be out of the country while Karol was working on it.

Loved the result - he finished on time and even made the effort to clean up everything. We just sold our condo for over asking in 4 days.

Last Spring my husband and I discovered a crack in our dining room ceiling. After closer inspection we realized it had been caused by a build up of water caused by a leak in our roof. We found European Contracting on homestars.com. Karol came right away when we described the situation. He found the problem, advised us to call the roofers who inspected and then paid for the repairs to the roof. The water damage was so extensive that Karol had to cut an entire section of our ceiling out and replace it - a tough job to blend such a repair in with the rest of the ceiling. He repaired the ceiling so well that no one could tell anything had happened! We took the opportunity to add two new pot lights and to replace the existing ones which were old. Karol brought in an electrician that he worked with who was also fantastic. Before long we had new pot lights in the dining room and then decided to put them in the living room as well. Since the dining room ceiling had to be repainted, we decided to repaint the entire dining room which we had always wanted to do. Karol even suggested paint colour and trim which we went with and were so delighted with the results we decided to have the carpet torn out and hardwood flooring installed in the dining room, TV room and hallways. Karol brought in an assistant and they worked at it around the clock. Everything was completed in less than a week. Karol started early and always tidied and cleaned the work area up before he left, no matter how late it was. He was courteous and efficient and very hard working. He also really impressed us with how multi-talented he was. The ceiling was expertly repaired, the paint job was equally beautiful and the floors were stunning. We felt like we had a new house! By the time everything was completed we felt like we had always known Karol. Karol even came back the following day to take a last look at the floors to inspect everything in the daylight. He is a perfectionist. We would not hesitate to call him again and have already recommended him to friends. Thank goodness we found him!

Karl and his team were polite, wonderful, did beautiful work, kept the worksite clean and came back to fix anything that didn't work out.
I would recommend them to anybody and hope to have them back here next summer for more work.

We needed our basement windows enlarged and window wells added. The first guy we hired was a joke. He did a half way job and then disappeared. Luckily, Karol from European Contracting took over! Not only did he undo the mess that the first guy made, but he finished the job way beyond our expectations. We are thrilled with our new windows!! I can sleep at night knowing the job was done right. Karol is a real pro! Our only mistake was not hiring him in the first place!!

Needed to change the kitchen cabinets and countertops. With a friends recommendation, I called European Contracting and was really impressed with the service I received. The pricing and workmanship was excellent. Karol was alway on time with a professional attitude and you can see he took pride in his work and attention to details. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

After having decided to redo our 1950's style kitchen we went with European Contracting on the recommendation of a friend.
Karol was great, his time schedule for the job was excellent, actually he finished 2 days before his set date. He was clear about every aspect of pricing and often took the time to explain why he did certain things.
I also was impressed with the tradesmen he worked with. The electrican (found many dangling-potentially dangerous lines buried in the wall) and plumber were top quality.
Finally his quote for the job was very fair.
I felt that Karol took pride in his work and it was reflected in his job (and our beautiful kitchen).
