We decided to add on & renovate our 20 year old home rather than moving. The project took about 10 months total. We moved out for the first 3, then had access to the second floor bedrooms & baths. Everything in the home was replaced including windows, doors, floors, shingles, furnace, cabinets, stairs....basically a total re-do.
There where some moments where my wife & family were frustrated, but considering the magnitude of the project, it all went very well and we are very happy with the end product

- Do not underestimate the time or money require to do a project like this. There are many final decisions that need to be made along the way.
