Elite Concrete

Extremely customer focused, terrific service, very friendly, great workmanship are the key phases that I would use to describe our experience with Elite. We could not be happier. They delivered on time and exactly as promised. The job was replacing our interlock patio with decorative concrete.

We had an original and old enterence patio made of wood and bricks that crumbled into unpleasant debrie over the fouty-years-of-use. Hence, we have invited several so called contractors to give us an estimate and a work schedule with no avail. As we almost gave up, we have found Elite Designed Concrete and we called Raffy and Marcelo for a quote. This was our lucky day. They have seen our small patio and attentively listened our desire and objectives and came up with a beautiful design idea for both the front enterence and the back patio and executed the job fantastically. Almost two years ago now my spouse and I decided that we would go all out and do a complete driveway and patio project. After talking to our friends, neighbors and family that have done similar projects one name kept coming up. Elite Designed Concrete!
We check out their fantastic website and were impressed and really inspired by what we saw and what we realized was possible.
We got on the phone and were immediately able to speak with Rafi. We were able to quickly and effortlessly arrange an appointment with him. He arrived promptly and we got down to it.
Rafi was immediately able to see that we didn’t just want something ordinary and that we really did want to do the entire external area of our home i.e. driveway, walkway to front, entry/steps/porch, side walkway, patio and area for our shed.
Rafi was able to put me at ease with his extensive knowledge and experience. I had a lot of questions and concerns about Concrete vs. stones specifically in terms of safety and cracking. He was able to provide me with all the details I needed as well as put my mind at ease with Elite Designed Concretes two-year warranty.
As we discussed the actual design Rafi suggested we go have a look at some of the other projects that they had done in the area to get an idea of what look we could get and what the color possibilities were.
We did our “tour” and new what would work for us. When we were ready Rafi came over again and we quickly settled on a very reasonable price and were told the exact schedule we could expect. He even managed to include the weather into the schedule for the first week.
When it was time for the project to start that was when we met Marcello. He quickly got us started and even worked with me to refine our design so that a) it looks great and b) it followed all the new bylaws that Markham had put in place at that time. He was able to get the nice clean big driveway we wanted while creating the beautiful landscape we were looking for including trees and garden walls etc.
Marcello and his guys did everything. They moved plants and containers, they moved all our outdoor furniture, they even moved the shed and removed the old platform we had it on. They quickly pulled out the old patio slabs and removed the driveway. They took all the garbage with them and even made the required calls to Markham township to allow the dumpster on the street as well as allow our cars to be parked on the street.
We went to maximum depth on the concrete and steel reinforcement and the guys followed the exact plans we came up with. Following the contours of the landscape where we wanted and exactly flat where we wanted.
Once everything was done (about two weeks, though most of the work was done in 3 days; 1 days to move everything and remove old driveway and patio, 1 day to put in reinforcement and pour concrete, stamp color etc, the last for cutting and sealing etc).
Also, once everything was done the guys added soil to our garden wall area as well as landscaped trees etc. They put the plants back. They moved everything back as well in the backyard including our shed and its contents. Then they fixed up our grass as well. Some areas did suffer as they were covered when we had to move things around.
Once they were done everything was perfect.
This year I called up Rafi after I noticed some minor issues he quickly sent people over to correct everything I mentioned and then we resealed everything. No muss no fuss.
So all in all it was an almost effortless activity for us. And the results are fantasic. Our neighbors love it (there are always people coming around during their evening walks to have a look at it). Our family love it too.
Rafi and Marcello were a pleasure to work with and the results speak for themselves. The real dream team!! Anytime I have any work like this these are my goto guys. I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks guys for a great job!!

I am just starting my project. I started working with Raffi. Sales support was clear. There was no negotiation flexibility. My project manager is Marcello. On his first visit, he was very flexible and knowledgable. He worked with me, made suggestions on the finer details and we came up with a plan. My dig starts Monday. I was told that concrete might take 1-2 weeks depending on weather,

We called Elite Designed Concrete last year based on their reviews on Homestars. We definitely made the right decision. Although their quote was higher than other quotes we received, once they started our project, we immediately saw why. Their staff were prompt, courteous, and very hard working. Marcelo was always available day and night to answer questions, and he provided excellent suggestions to tweak their landscape architect's design. The project did take a little while longer than we anticipated because of the amount of rain we had last year, but Marcelo and Raffy always kept in touch with us to provide updates. The final product is outstanding, and we regularly receive compliments from neighbours and passers by. What's most impressive is that Raffy came to inspect the concrete this Spring. When he saw the damage done by our plow contractor to the corner of our front step, he arranged to have it repaired by their staff and didn't even charge us for it! These are true professionals who care about their customers, and we only wish that the other contractors we've had to deal with for our renovations had half the integrity that Elite has shown with us. We highly recommend them.

Elite continues to provide my family with outstanding professional service. We can't say enough, they showed up early season power washed the patio, filled any gaps and then returned a few days later to seal.
They even moved the furniture out of the way to ensure it was done the right way.

Raffy, Marcello and their efficient team were absolutely a pleasure to work with. They definitely will get recommendations from me. Raffy came and measured our backyard and gave me a quote that fit perfectly into my budget. The team came in a week after the quote and did the job efficiently and time for our family bbq event.
