Elite Concrete

I found Elite on Homestars and gave them a try.
Raffy and Marcelo were a pleasure to deal with. Raffy came by and looked at the jobsite and gave me a Quote for pouring a 3 inch concrete slab floor in my basement. Raffy told me to call him when I was ready which I did several weeks later. Marcelo and his team came exactly when raffy said they would, did exactky what they were asked to do - did it in the time it was supposed to take and cleaned up nicely. Floor looks great !

Elite concrete was referred to me by my brother as they had did an extensive concrete pool deck for him. From the very start, Raffe was excellent in communicating what services they could provide as well as give constructive feedback to the design that I provided to him. Their schedule was extremely busy but promised to fit us in. Marcelo oversaw the actual work and we could not be happier with his crew and his guidance. We knew instantly after watching the crew start to work that they are real pros. I say this because we had just finished building a custom home and from my own experience in dealing with trades you figure out quite quickly the pros from the duds. Even the little things like where to place the joint control cut, Raffe provided an excellent tip to help us maintain the modern aesthetic of the driveway. There's a reason why Elite is consistently ranked number one and we are another in a long line of satisfied customers! Keep up the great work Elite!

I have to tell this was a pleasant experience from start to finish, which was why we hired them given I had driven around to look at a few properties. In doing so, I did get an opportunity to chat with a few of their customers unexpectedly and they all had nothing but great things to say about them. Their quality of work, the level of professionalism and customer service was exceptional, this was demonstrated by all the staff from the Owner to the workers. We first heard about Elite concrete while strolling through our family’s Thornhill neighborhood. As we were walking we came upon a beautiful driveway with a beautiful driveway, porch, garden planters and garden walls. We were so impressed by the look that we had to ask the homeowners who had done the job for them. The homeowners were great and told us that it was Elite Designed Concrete that had done all the work for them. They mentioned how professional the crew was, and how great the service was. They had no complaints and recommended them to us and also commented on the fact that they would probably have them come back in the summer of 2012 to do some more work. We decided to give them a call for a quote to see how they would compare with the rest of the quotes that we had gotten. Raffy, one of the company’s owners came out promptly to provide us with a quote. He was on time and very professional. He had set up a kit for us outlining information about the company and also providing us with a lengthy list of all the projects they had done so far. He took some measurements and answered all of our questions and concerns and provided us with a quote. He mentioned to us that we could go and speak to all the homeowners for whom they had done work for if we wanted and at the same time we can have a look at their job and perhaps even get ideas as to what we wanted our driveway, porch, and walkway to look like. We decided to do just that! All the homeowners were a great help, they all had nothing but great things to say. The common theme among them was that Elite was very professional and very efficient at what they do. To our surprise, a few of the homeowners we spoke to, had to make warranty calls, and of these homeowners, they to praised the way Elite handled the warranty calls. Elite fixed their issues quickly at no extra charge and it didn’t take more then one phone call. After careful consideration we decided to go with Elite Designed Concrete! Their price quote was competitive with all the other quotes that we had gotten, however, their quality customer service and workmanship, was the best that we had seen and heard of when comparing with some of the other contractors. It wasn’t Long before Marcelo Manfrini one of the other owners came by to discuss our design, choice of colours, and our landscaping. He was very patient with us as we had a lot of questions, so much so that we felt bad for him. However, he helped us come up with a great design and we are very pleased with the way things turned out. Leo and the construction crew, did an excellent job preparing the forms and the foundation for all the concrete work, they were very quick, and efficient, and they addressed any questions or concerns that we had, most importantly they cleaned up each and everyday and they went above and beyond their scope of work even doing things that were not on the contract. Our neighbors even commented on the speed at which they were doing their job, they truly were a great bunch. We also appreciated Andre’s help with the landscaping, he provided us with ideas and plans from which we were able to create what we feel is a beautifully landscaped front and backyard. Elite designed concrete really left a great impression on us, attesting to the fact that there are great contractors out there and you don’t have to a pay the piper for them. Our advice……Go with Elite for any concrete work that you need done.

In spring, we were looking for a contractor to do stamped concrete in our backyard, walkway, front porch and drive way. The excellent finished product does give an exquisite effect with the addition of low-maintenance plant and a couple of trees. Elite has completed its job with my full satisfaction and I would not hesitate to make any recommendation.
