We used HotWire to replace the old electrical panel (fuses) at our house with a new circuit breaker before we moved in. The final cost ended up being $600 higher than originally quoted because Toronto Hydro implemented a new fee for connecting and disconnecting service two weeks before we had the work done. However, HotWire showed up on time (a few minutes early, even!) and we were very happy with the work they did. The electrician even took the time to point out wiring problems in our basement that we didn't know about and sealed them off for our safety.
Overall we would recommend HotWire and will be having them back for a full assessment of our house's electrical issues.
