We hired New Ridge when we bought our new house to replace carpet on the second floor with hardwood and refinish the staircase before we moved in. We couldn't be happier with the customer service and the finished product. John P was the contractor on our project and he was amazing to work with. He went above and beyond for us - he was in regular communication about how the work was progressing and reassuring us that it would be done in time for our move-in date. He cleaned up at the end of every day and his attention to detail was excellent. Even our neighbors raved about how hard he worked and how friendly he was. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or rehire New Ridge back again!

Edmunds Landscaping recently finished a complete overhaul of our backyard space, and we couldn't be any happier with the results. John and his crew tore up and removed everything in the existing backyard and laid interlock, capped the patio in flagstone, installed a fence and laid sod. Evident in all the crew's work was their commitment to completing the task properly and with an eye for the details. John was very easy to work with, always responsive and on time. John and his crew were committed to going the extra mile, even hauling away some large garbage that was unrelated to the backyard project. The pricing was fair and competitive; I would not hesitate to use his services again and recommend him very highly.

We used HotWire to replace the old electrical panel (fuses) at our house with a new circuit breaker before we moved in. The final cost ended up being $600 higher than originally quoted because Toronto Hydro implemented a new fee for connecting and disconnecting service two weeks before we had the work done. However, HotWire showed up on time (a few minutes early, even!) and we were very happy with the work they did. The electrician even took the time to point out wiring problems in our basement that we didn't know about and sealed them off for our safety. Overall we would recommend HotWire and will be having them back for a full assessment of our house's electrical issues.
