Drain Rescue Plumbers

I used some strong liquid drain cleaner (sulfuric acid), and left it overnight in the drain — big mistake, as the acid dissolved the glue holding the PVC pipes together, producing 5 leakage sites, flooding the cabinet bottom and some of the floor tile. What a mess! Temporary repair with electrician’s tape enabled us to wait until next morning for Drain Repair to come at the scheduled time. The pipe configuration was replaced, and the joints are all solid now — great job, Andrew, we would certainly call Drain Repair again!

I had sewage water backup at night. Vince, the plumber, was sent within an hour. With the water in the basement, Vince was unable to unclog the drain but helped guide me to resolve the problem. During the crisis and the city was having floods in many places as well, Vince tried his best to have the crew ready the next morning. During the repair with the trench open, underground water came in to the trench at an alarming level, Drain Rescue answered my concern and sent Vince to address the problem before the crew could come in to continue the repair. I end up replacing the whole clay pipe (with some minor issue), but seeing how hard and labor intensive the job is, I feel the big money spent is still justified. My thanks to the whole crew (many people involved), Vince, Nigel, Daniel in particular and the office staff as well.
