The service was fast and it took only 15-20 mins to repair. For cable re-attached and bottom weather seal installed on a single garage door. Good company. However, make sure you understand clearly that the minimum charge is $120 + HST (1.5 hrs minimum) of labour even if the works takes less than the minimum.

"CABLE CAME LOOSE-REPLACE BOTTOM WEATHER SEAL".
WE ADVISED CLIENT EXACTLY WHAT WE TELL EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER. YOU CAN CALL DODDS A THOUSAND TIMES AND WILL BE TOLD THE FOLLOWING EVERY SINGLE TIME:
"MINIMUM LABOUR CHARGE $80/HOUR MINIMUM 1-1/2 HOURS+PARTS+HST". WE WOULD NEVER MISLEAD A CLIENT.THE REASON WE SPECIFY 1-1/2 HOURS MINIMUM IS BECAUSE WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH TIME THE ACTUAL JOB MIGHT TAKE AND IT MAY WELL TAKE MORE THAN THE MINIMUM 1-1/2.
WE HONESTLY CANNOT FATHOM WHY THE CLIENT DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS TOLD.

I called Dodds and was told that the minimum is $80/hr. I had my cable re-attached and have my bottom weather seal installed on a single garage door. It only took for the repairman 15-20 mins of work. As per their invoice the minimum labour charge is $80/hr minimum of 1.5 hours + parts + HST. However, I got charge for $126.00 labour + HST for 15-20 mins work. The parts for bottom weather seal cost $24.80 + HST. Not even half an hour which is misleading. I wish they can be honest on what they put in their invoice.
