Derek's Tree Service Inc

I hired Derek in the summer and again in September for tree trimming and tree/stump removal in my front and backyard, the largest of which was removing a dead section of a cottonwood poplar. His team of 5 was friendly, efficient, and professional. Derek himself was very open and sincere when I asked him advice on tree care. I definitely recommend him!

We hired Derek and his team to remove three trees and some bushes. They were in and out in an hour, doing a thorough job and for an excellent price.

On October 29, we had Derek's Tree Service perform a number of jobs on our property. His Crew worked hard and did an excellent job. Each one had a job to do and did it well. They were polite and were willing to do whatever we asked of them. We would highly recommend him.

We hired Derek and his Fantastic 5, to remove two trees on our recently purchased property. They exceeded my expectations !! The crew were very polite, clean and Hard Working !! Derek was very honest and forthcoming about a tree we were going to cut down.
He convinced my husband and I to keep the tree and just have it properly trimmed. Am so glad we trusted him, he didn't steer us wrong. His guys did an awesome job, were prompt, hard working

Derek and team did a fantastic job removing a juniper and maple tree from our property. The team was punctual and started working right away. Work and clean-up were quick, efficient and clean! Highly recommended!

Our Saturday could not have gotten off to a better start. Derek and his crew showed up at 8:40 am with his crew of 7! And they we're done trimming, cutting, shredding, and cleaning at 9:40! What a great guy (very approachable) and nice guys working for him. They came in, got the job done and didn't leave any trace of a "mess" behind, They knew t they were doing With our 50-60 year old catalpa trees and we are completely 100% satisfied!!! So we've got this tiny black locust growing in between our house and our neighbour that stresses us out everytime there is a storm or high winds. Derek came by and gave us not only a quote but some advice on how to get a permit from the city, what to show them in pictures etc. etc.

So we gave him a call after we had permit in hand and despite all the massive cleanups he had to do with Rainmaggedon in Toronto, he brought his crew over and did the job today.

He and his team were friendly, funny, safe, and super curteous and although I did not see his crew in action (I was trying to slow down traffic), I came back to find spectacular results. My tree was a pretty difficult job (tight space between my fence, my AC unit and my gas meter) and Derek's team was all pro. If they didn't have another job in the afternoon, I would have been happy sharing my beer fridge with them.

Derek: I'm going to get my dad and brother to call you. They need help too. Their streets are less busy though...I hope you aren't bored.

I had neglected this tree for several years and it had dead branches, branches on the roof and on nearby wires. Derek and his team came on time, did a beautiful job trimming the tree and giving it a great shape once again. They cleaned up all the cuttings and left a very clean driveway and lawn. I will definitely use them again.....
