This is the second time in two weeks that I requested a bin from Junk It. For both jobs, the bins arrived on time and in the exact place that I requested. The first bin left as scheduled and my driveway looked the same as before they came. The second bin is still in the driveway (scheduled to leave later this week). Based on my two bin experience, Junk It is very reliable and timely!

The 12 year old Carrier that we had in our house had bit the dust and we looked on Homestars for a few reputable companies to call. Spring Home was one of them and Andrew Kojola came by to give us an assessment of our requirements and a quote. We considered a couple of different options because of our size constraints and very happy with the Trane that he recommended. Called him that night to give him the go ahead and the service was scheduled for four days later. Michael and Chris (tech team) came earlier than scheduled and came up with an installation plan that was better than the one that Andrew and I had using the pre-existing holes in the house. The team was very friendly and polite and the installation was super clean. Would definitely recommend to others. Great job guys and thanks!

So our refrigerator stopped blowing cold about two days ago but the freezer unit was fine. This morning at 3am, we heard a grumbling that forced us to unplug. My wife called the Appliance Guy today and Joe swung by to take a look. We thought it was a compressor but thankfully it was only a timer. Fridge is fixed and now blows cold. Thanks Joe! Love the same day, same trip service.

So we've got this tiny black locust growing in between our house and our neighbour that stresses us out everytime there is a storm or high winds. Derek came by and gave us not only a quote but some advice on how to get a permit from the city, what to show them in pictures etc. etc. So we gave him a call after we had permit in hand and despite all the massive cleanups he had to do with Rainmaggedon in Toronto, he brought his crew over and did the job today. He and his team were friendly, funny, safe, and super curteous and although I did not see his crew in action (I was trying to slow down traffic), I came back to find spectacular results. My tree was a pretty difficult job (tight space between my fence, my AC unit and my gas meter) and Derek's team was all pro. If they didn't have another job in the afternoon, I would have been happy sharing my beer fridge with them. Derek: I'm going to get my dad and brother to call you. They need help too. Their streets are less busy though...I hope you aren't bored.
