An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
My wife and I hired Mike from Delco Renovations this summer to resurface our two decks, replace the stairs connecting them, install some cedar siding, and install a custom french door.
We received quotes from two other well reviewed companies before deciding to go with Mike and Delco Renovations.
We chose Delco because Mike really impressed us. We found him to be straight forward, knowledgeable, communicative, timely, and cost effective. We just got a good feeling from Mike, so we went with Delco.
The work started promptly and made fast progress. The carpenters, Ray and Michael, were personable, efficient and talented. In the contract we had not included rot damage as it's hard to assess without tearing everything apart. A lot of rot was found, but we felt the extra money needed to complete the job to be very fair for all the extra work that was needed.
Overall, our expectations have been met or exceeded by Delco Renovations, and we are already using them again.
Thank you.
