An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
We contracted Delco Renovations to do a renovation to our home in February of 2010. The renovation was primarily to add a new master suite, bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet. Adding approximately 650 sq ft, above an existing living and dining room.
Along with the addition, we renovated the existing master suite, the living and dining room area and replaced the entire roof.
The project went well and kept close to schedule. There were minimal unexpected issues that arose, when they did, Mike and Martin dealt with them quickly and effectively.
One such issue that deserves note was on a Sunday evening when about 60% of the roof was off and covered by tarps. An unexpected storm with strong winds came up and the tarps started to tear and come loose. Margaret was home alone. She called Mike around 8pm and within an hour, both Mike and Martin were at the house fighting with the wind and rain to get the tarps re-installed.
On that vain we found all of the Delco Renovation employees who were part of our renovation, were prepared to go the extra mile to get things done the way we wanted. They were polite, well mannered, keen to please and above all worked well around us as we went on with our day to day lives with walls missing, no roof, windows out and so on.
They cleaned up every day before they left, always rang the door bell before coming in the next day, and generally were a great bunch, with good skills.
We are very pleased with the way the renovation turned out and would recommend the Delco Renovation team to get the job done, in a professional well organized manner.
