Ather the service technician was very profession, he called and provided a time he expect to arrive and was in time. He was very courteous and explained what he was checking and provided the explaination. I would highly recommend this service and will be scheduling one for next year.

Service call was quick, the person came in within a few hours of the call. They charged a $99 fee for the diagnostic visit. Within a few minutes he identified the problem pretty quickly, and indicated it would be a quick fix, which it was. He mentioned it would be another $250 for labor and part cost. It took a few minutes and we were up and running.

Overall the gentleman was informative and helpful, and had the parts to fix it in the van. My rating is more about the high price involved in making the fix. Researching it, the part itself is $20 on Amazon, and the labour cost I had already paid for with the $99 for the 25 minutes he was here. Looking around I find that the reasonable cost for a company to come in and do this is about half of what I paid.

So while I'm happy with the result, I'm a little disappointed in the price, and there is very little opportunity to shop around when your furnace is down.

My 25 year old furnace conked out and I needed a replacement quickly. I called a few companies as well as independents. Some of the other well known candidates had a sales tactic of bashing others as well as Home Stars which turned me off. Others sounded good but the timeline was not as quick as I needed and they were not as informative. First piece of information, I found Cosmo from home stars. I called and was directed to speak with Mike from Cosmo. He was very informative about my options as well as the rebates available. He verified an install could take place on the same day and then said he would come to my house to discuss further after giving me some rough options and pricing after asking me specific questions. When Mike came to the house he seemed very honest, he is more of a technician and less of a salesperson. He laid down a lot of information and I chose accordingly. He started arranging the rebate situation as well as the installers. He did not pressure me into any particular furnace or AC, or doing additional work. I chose accordingly and the installer came after about 2 hours at 2pm. Fred and his partner was the installer. Very friendly and professional installer. Laid mats out from front door, down stairs and to furnace. Cleaned up after. Answered questions I had. Replaced the thermostat as it was needed. He was done in about 3-4 hours. Excellent experience, would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I am forever grateful to Shan and his courteous and professional team. My boiler needed urgent rectifications on sloppy work done by some small contractor. I was then referred to shan and i am so appreciative to him and his staff for seeing me on such short notice. This is a real 24/7 company.

I am very impressed with Mr. Shan calm and confident demeanor during the entire process and the way in which he explained the entire scenario. He made me feel calm and confident that if something would go awry that he would be able to handle the situation in the best possible way. I will give him the highest possible rating.

Fred installer was excellent. he did an excellent job at our house. we ary very very satisfied with the service we received from cosmopolitan mechanical services. We will call them for all our heating and colling work. very reliable customer services.

I had my furnace installed by Cosmopolitan 2 years ago and they did a good job so I called them again to change my water heater. They installed a Bradford White Defender Series 50 gallon Power Vent water heater. The technicians that came did a great job from putting down mats to protect my hardwood flooring to bringing the new tank into my basement. They were very careful. They also had to do some slightly complicated plumbing because the this new hot water tank would sit differently than the old one. They seemed very experience and knowledgeable. I also liked that he did a good job supporting the gas lines with multiple straps. I would definitely use this company again.

We had our first furnace maintenance service from Ather, Senior Service Technician, last week. He was very professional and prompt with his work. He explained to me how the furnace works and what he was checking to make sure it is a great working condition. He mentioned that some sensor in the furnace was dirty, which is the most important for the furnace. We are very happy that we had this service before it got worse or otherwise it will cost more to repair! He also educated us about carbon monoxide detector and how we can maintain the furnace by checking filter occasionally, changing it, and clean the steam drainage pipe with vinegar, which we've never thought of! Responded to a Groupon for the furnace. They were prompt in providing a quote and installation. Price was great. Technician Fred and colleague were skilled and conscientious as well as friendly. Definitely recommend them!!

We would say job well done. called these guys at late night when our furnace stopped working. our furnace heatexchanger got broke. Shan showed up for the quote and gave us reasonable price. They finished the work right next day. We would say very quick installation which we needed it because we did not have heat. Furnace is great..

I had Cosmopolitan do our furnace maintenance last night. Ather Hasan came and he started working as soon as he entered the house. He started by asking us about our CO detectors and provided some good advice with maintenance and keeping it current. He is very thorough with his explanation and very meticulous about his work. I like that because I am the same. Don't do it at all if you don't feel like doing it right the first time. He is polite and courteous and I can tell how he values customer satisfaction. He did all the checks and described what is was doing at the same time. He left the workspace clean the same way before he started working. I'm very happy with his level of service. I wish he does home renovations so I can contract him too.
