We had our roof redone in September 2015 (shingles and new plywood where they deemed necessary). Work was done fairly well (we did have to ask them to come back and re-do the flashing on the chimney as they left it looking like quite a mess and there were lots of nails left in the eaves and around the property). Probably would have given them an 8/10. However, in December 2018 - just over 3 years from the initial work - the roof started leaking causing significant damage to our kitchen. We reached out to Complete Roofing and they sent someone out to have a look. The technician couldn't find any obvious signs of issues so they caulked a few of the shingles and left. We had to call them back at least 5 times between January 2019 - June 2019 as it continued to leak. The technician caulked everything possible - including the siding that they blamed for the issue (not done with the roof replacement). All the caulking did not solve the issue - the roof continued to leak. They did finally agree to replace what they suspected to be the area of shingles causing the issue - the replacement did not fix the issue. We were replacing eaves, soffits and fascia that fall (2019) so did the siding as well since Complete Roofing said that had to be the issue. Siding was replaced and the roof continued to leak. Called Complete Roofing and calls were not returned. Eventually spoke to the owner Mike, who assured us he would personally have it looked at and solve our problem as we had then been living with a 4 foot x 3 foot hole in our kitchen ceiling for a year. His technician came out, replaced a couple of shingles and told us it should be good - it wasn't. We called and emailed Complete Roofing a number of times and they never returned our phone calls or emails. Completely ghosted us. Super disappointing considering they offer a 5 year warranty on workmanship and our roof started leaking just 3 years in. We eventually had enough and called another company to come and have a look. The other company came out and quoted the repair at $1500. Turns out Complete Roofing did not use ice and water shield under the valleys (as promised in quote) and did a poor job with the step flashing resulting in our leak. The other company had it fixed properly in a day and the roof hasn't leaked since. Avoid Complete Roofing at all costs (because this new roof cost us an additional $2500 in repairs and insurance deductible). We even filed a case with the BBB and they also ignored that. They do not stand behind their work and offer terrible customer service. Buyer beware!
