The team at Clarke Basement Systems is top notch. While renovating the basement in my 98 year old home, I discovered I had water problem. Cracks in my foundation were leading to small amounts of flooding and some serious mold/moisture damage.
I was anxious about waterproofing at first because I didn't understand how confident I could be that the problem would get solved after what can be a significant investment.
The inspector who came and quoted on the work spent nearly 2 hours walking me through all of the details of the project and was incredibly thorough in developing a solution for my basement that I could be confident in.
The team that worked on the project directly (only took 2 days) was very professional and respectful of my property.
The admin folks back at the office were very helpful when it came to scheduling work and processing my payment/warranty.
Would 100% recommend Clarke Basement Systems to anyone with water problems in their basement and would encourage people to consider this as a worthwhile investment to anyone renovating and old basement.
I should add that while the project is expensive (~9000 for a 800 linear foot room) I was eligible for a $1400 rebate through the City of Toronto 's basement flooding program and it was Clarke Basement Systems that provided me with the heads up on the cost savings. Further the basement waterproofing came with a 25 year warranty that is transferable with the property!
