I hired Beverley Hills to replace a front door and Bow Window at the recommendation of my brother. The sales person was very nice but I felt the price was high compared to other quotes I had received. When I told the sales person that I had received a quote from another company at half the price he of course had negative things to say about the quality and workmanship of that other company. I reluctantly agreed to hire Beverley Hills because of my brother's recommendation and am sorry now that I did. The installers did a poor job of putting in the hardware I had purchased from Lowes and in fact damaged part of the hardware of as well as some of the drywall around the window they installed. When I called the company about the situation they said the hardware must have been damaged already.I know that the hardware was not damaged because I always inspect everything very closely before I purchase it. They told me that if I buy more hardware they would send someone up to install it for me again. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The reason I gave a '1' as a rating was for the service man who came to fix the hardware once I purchased a new one. This man's only job was fixing up all the messes made by the company. That tells you something if they have to employ a person to go around cleaning up messes. I am very disappointed with this company.

- Company Response
We are familiar with this customer and her concerns. Fortunately we have a photograph of the face of the deadbolt and were able to quickly identify this as a manufacturer defect. We explained that she should return the hardware where she purchased it for a credit and we would re install it for her at no charge. We dispatched our service person the very next day to install the new hardware and our customer authorized the service form. Our service man did not indicate any drywall damage around the bow window we installed. I also reviewed the pricing on the order and it was priced accurately for the scope of work. Our installation manager met with our customer in our showroom and pointed out how the hardware defect may have occurred. It is unfortunate that our customer is disappointed as we made every effort to rectify the problem and did so immediately.
