Anna's Housekeeping Services

I have been using Anna's Housekeeping Services for almost two years and I have been very satisfied with the service. We currently have Najean coming in to clean. She does a great job leaving the house smelling and looking fresh and clean.

Recently "Ify" from Anna's Housecleaning was in to clean our home. Immediately upon entering I could tell she had been there. The home smelled great, it looked fabulous and on closer inspection she had dusted shelves and wiped ledges to perfection. The floors sparkled and even the throw pillows were placed back with extra care. So happy!

I asked for a dusting. I said any other sort of cleaning was of secondary importance, that whomever they sent over could get to it or not, depending on how well the dusting went. They said fine. Cleaner was friendly. I left her to do her work, and paid her in advance. When I returned, I found: dishes cleaned, surfaces organized into piles, the handle broken off my vacuum cleaner placed neatly on my bar, and dust everywhere.

I called to complain, and was told that she probably ran out of time -- three hours to dust 1,200 squre feet -- and that I should book her again.

We have used Ivanka from Anna's housekeeping for a couple of years now. Having a consistent housekeeper from Anna's is the best way to go. They get to know your place and how you would like the place cleaned. Ivanka is always flexible if what needs to be cleaned if that particular time is different than before. Some of the other staff are not as flexible or consistent. Also, some staff are not strong in English so communicating with them can be hard. However, I've used "google translate" to get around that. =:) Scheduling is easy - prompt and efficient in getting back to you. No pressure to book regularly. Can be a bit brusk on the phone though - stronger customer service orientation would be great. Overall, would refer others to them.

I have relied on Anna's Housekeeping Services since I first moved to Toronto for my job a decade and a half ago. Over the years I have had two regular cleaners, both of them friendly, professional, efficient and reliable. I have recommended Anna's to friends, who have all had the same experience. The rates are affordable, the cleaning standards are excellent and the company is easy to deal with. For working moms like myself Anna's provides an essential service.

I have never been disappointed by Anna's. Booking is a very simple process and the folks who show up do a great job. We've been especially pleased with Balencia. Be prepared for Anna's folks to arrive a half hour early--but never late.

I have used Anna's Housekeeping for over 10 years. I have had different people and for the most part they are all good. Some better than others. I prefer to have the same person and have now had Sarah a few times. She is very good. I am very happy with her. I would not hesitate to recommend Anna's Housekeeping. I have been very happy with their services.

Damaged my hardwood floor using floor steamer and response from company is that it happens sometimes. Even though I have Regular day and time different maids show up with various skills and quality of cleaning. Not very consistent and if you have any issue with the cleaning the company is not very responsive. It's a case Of buyer beware.
