Acorn Wood Floors

We had old carpet that needed to go, and many layers of evern older tiles underneather. Acorn did a fabulous job of installing beautiful new hardwood and made it match the style and age of the rest of the house. We love it.

I recently contacted Acorn Wood Floors (Ron) to install maple stair treads, risers and skirting on my basement stairs as was previously installed up to second floor of the house. This is not the first time I have had Ron at the house. Back in 2014 after dispatching the first flooring contractor I contacted Ron to complete installation of my hardwood flooring which I did not purchase from Acorn Wood Floors at that time. Ron agreed to complete the install after examining the flooring product I purchased through a friend in the flooring industry. In hind sight at the time I discovered I could have gotten a better product for the same price through Acorn Wood Floors. Ron and his employees pay attention to the details and are dedicated in giving the customer you get what you paid for experience. Great company to deal with no disappointments!

Ron repaired a large part of our flood after water damage. The only wood I could find was used, and in bad shape. He fixed the damaged wood pieces and made them look like new and then repaired the floor. It looked brilliant.
He also made a hardwood/carpet transition piece from wood that we needed to cover the hardwood edge after we removed a bedroom wall. We could not get anything bid enough or anywhere close to the right colour, so he made it. It looked fantastic.
