We have been A1 customers for about 25 years. We have purchased two A/C + gas furnace packages from them, and we also subscribe to their maintenance and service program. Their service is prompt and reliable.

Celled this company instead of my usual as the previous owners used them and felt they would be familiar with the systems. What a difference!! Knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, professional, tidy...like where do I stop? Just the fact that there is no sub-contracting so consistency and accountability are always there makes these guys worth switching to. I'm sold.

Required a new A/C unit as a replacement to the original existing unit. High efficiency Daikin equipment was installed backed by a terrific warranty package. Unit operated like a charm through a scorching 2016 summer. Talk about putting something to the test. Overall, greatly impressed with the equipment. As for the company, A1 Air Conditioning & Heating; Staff are highly professional and knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. They take their work seriously, and yet they are highly people oriented. We have used this company for a number of years now to look after all of our household heating and cooling needs. A few years ago they handled a heating emergency for us on Christmas Eve - they really went over and beyond our expectations, and we really cannot speak highly enough about the company and its staff. Exceptional is just the first word we would start with. We definitely recommend this company to everyone that is in need of heating and cooling equipment, or a solid maintenance and equipment protection plan

We have been customers for almost 10 years. A1 is always professional, and their courteous employees arrive when they say they will. We have had furnace emergencies in the past and with their insurance plan, the issues were taken care of quickly (24/7) and there was no "fine print" in the agreement. It was all covered through the policy. We are very satisfied and will continue our service with A1.

My family has used A1 for over 20 years. We moved into our new house a couple weeks ago and wanted them to cover our HVAC equipment under their supercare warranty. Unfortunately our furnace was not up to code and was rusting and leaking condensation everywhere. The technician quoted a repair cost and stick to it, repairing it all day on Saturday and even went to Rona to pick up more parts for us. We usually get Dean as the tech and he's excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend A1 to anyone!!! Keep up the good work!!

Very professional and very friendly people! Always on time and they do good work! They answer all my questions and make recommendations on what I can do as a home owner to save energy and keep my house comfortable!

Our furnace would randomly give heat and then only blow cold air. I had the thermostat set at 71 degrees, yet the house was always between 63-69 degrees. The fan would start, flames would ignite, and then it would shut off. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and let me know there would be a $99.00 charge for a technician to diagnose the problem, which I was fine with and glad she informed me of this right away. John from A1 was very friendly, honest and knowledgable. We explained the problem with our furnace, he seemed to know exactly what was wrong by our conversation, he serviced it (with no parts required), and it has been running great ever since. He informed us of A1's annual maintenance program, but was not pushy about it at all, which we appreciated (it sounds like a good program and we are considering signing up for this). We have A1 booked to clean the ducts soon. Was a positive experience dealing with this company. #83459

82570 - Our Service Tech, John, provided us with great service this fall. We had a simple repair to our exterior piping and while I was concerned that the end result would be an eyesore, John did a great job keeping it neat, simple and as inconspicuous as possible. The net result exceeded what I had expected.

Like all the Technicians who have serviced us since 2009, John was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He completed the work in a timely manner and left our home clean and tidy.

Happy to recommend A1 to anyone in the Burlington/Oakville area.
