Wouldn't you know it - The torsion garage door safety cable snapped as we left for an early morning commitment, leaving the door closed on an angle. When we got back home, we did not know who to call. Fortunately the great reviews we found on Homestars for AVF Residential gave us peace of mind when it came to dealing with someone we never used before. I called AVF Residential and explained the problem to Arjay. He explained the required repair in a manner that was easy to understand, provided an estimate that was more than reasonable, and was willing to carry out the repair when it was convenient for me. He was at our place within the hour and inspected both garage doors, and related hardware for proper operation and safety. Arjay carried out the repairs professionally, quickly, and effectively. His friendliness, pro-active approach toward ensuring the continued safe operation of the garage doors, and overall job performance that truly exceeded my expectations are greatly appreciated. More importantly, Arjay's demonstrated honesty and commitment to doing the job right the first time has compelled me to share my experience with everyone that may be in need of service or repair to their garage doors. I will definitely be calling AVF Residential in the future when we are ready to upgrade our garage doors.

Required a new A/C unit as a replacement to the original existing unit. High efficiency Daikin equipment was installed backed by a terrific warranty package. Unit operated like a charm through a scorching 2016 summer. Talk about putting something to the test. Overall, greatly impressed with the equipment. As for the company, A1 Air Conditioning & Heating; Staff are highly professional and knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. They take their work seriously, and yet they are highly people oriented. We have used this company for a number of years now to look after all of our household heating and cooling needs. A few years ago they handled a heating emergency for us on Christmas Eve - they really went over and beyond our expectations, and we really cannot speak highly enough about the company and its staff. Exceptional is just the first word we would start with. We definitely recommend this company to everyone that is in need of heating and cooling equipment, or a solid maintenance and equipment protection plan

Checked with Homestars and the BBB prior to contacting Herb Lodde & Sons Roofing Ltd. Ten out of Ten, and A+ ratings across the board, combined with the fact that they have been in business for 50 years assured us that we would be making the right choice in contacting them to replace the roof on our home. As it turned out, they greatly exceeded our expectations. We found a strong "Customer Satisfaction" orientation among all staff members right through to the owners. High quality materials, and workmanship second to none, combined with long term warranties covering both materials and labour have not only resulted in providing us with a roof that looks absolutely phenomenal, but also a good sense of security with respect to the durability and safety of the roof for decades to come. The staff and installers were a definite pleasure to work with. They made this project virtually stress free, and were always available to answer questions.
