Moncada Windows Doors & Siding

We hired Moncada to replace our front and back doors in fall of 2022. Unfortunately we had issues with both doors installed. We very clearly requested a back door with a full window that could be half opened, and instead received a door with only a half window. For the front door, we were told there was only one red colour available but the door that was installed was a very different shade of redmore like lipstick instead of maroon. The interior is also cool white instead of warm white as ordered. While I can excuse the colour mix-up, the inaccuracy of what was quoted vs. provided would be a potential nightmare for someone trying to adhere to a particular design style. The back door having a much smaller window is a big disappointment. We were told by Moncada staff that they would replace the back door with the proper window, but after 12 months of repeated phone calls and promises that the door was on order, it seems clear they are ignoring us and will not correct the error from their salesperson (whose only provided documentation to us was a very hard-to-read handwritten receipt). One of the most frustrating parts of this experience was being led on by their customer service for more than a year, being told a replacement had been ordered, and then being ghosted. Every time we called they did not have our information on file and had to be reminded of the situation. The doors were quite expensive, about $4k each, and I would expect better service for this cost. I also find the new front door is not much better than the old door in terms of reducing street traffic noise. Overall I would not recommend this company.
