2 Guys Painting

We had 2 Guys Painting recommended to us for our home improvement, so we had them in to give us a quote for our kitchen. The quote was clear, fully explained and appropriate cost-wise. There were some unforeseen issues with our ceiling, all carefully explained and fixed during the course of the job. The guys were extremely organized and clean, quick with the job (no lingering around), clear in their explanations of what was going on, and the job was actually finished quicker than anticipated! We had SUCH a great experience with them that we had them back a month later to paint the rest of the main floor of our home.

I highly recommend this company. As Dave put it, "You don't pay anything until you are happy", and we were happy from start to finish. They will be our first call should we have any further paint jobs, without a doubt!

We had 2 Guys Painting in to paint virtually our entire home and would not hesitate to recommend the company. Dave the owner is extremely knowledgeable and had some great suggestions for us, and the cost he quoted us was fair. I had one other quote but felt very confident in going with 2 Guys. The entire job was done professionally by Richard our job supervisor and Rick and Victor assisting - they were such great guys and a pleasure to have in our home. Every night they tidied up and were very careful of our floors and furniture. We're really happy with the result and if we do sell this house I will get them to paint our new home, no question!

I am very pleased with the workmanship and cooperation of Richard and the painters from 2 Guys Painting. completed today December 14, 2016. I originally met with Dave the owner for an estimate. who assured me my floors would be covered and not to worry. This company did our family room, hallways. main floor, stair case and upper hallway. I wasextremely impressed that they prepped the walls and actually lightlly sanded before painting. They used water proof paper (which I paid for) first time I knew about that and a plus for protection. One of their painters specializes in doors and did all the doors. There were a few missed spots that were fixed immediately when pointed out. They were patient and cleaned up any spots 2 Guys Painting did everything they were supposed to do and did a great job. I would highly recommend this company and would have them back in the future.

Really glad I called Dave. His quote was reasonable, his timing perfect and the work exemplary. His guys worked hard and steadily arriving at 7am and staying all day. They finished on time with no added cost and, when one of their short term painters did a sub-par job on the deck railings, he had one of the others come back and redo it to our satisfaction. Would definitely hire again!

Dave was recommended by a friend. His guys delivered painting our exterior stucco walls. They were built in 1989 and are the old cementious stucco. It was hard, hot work.

After having our roof replaced and our attic insulated it was time to fix the soggy kitchen ceiling where the roof had leaked. We were looking for a company that could fix the ceiling, paint the kitchen and the front entry hall. Being on a tight schedule and needing everything done by the end of April, somewhat limited the companies available for quoting. After getting 3 quotes from some of HomeStars top rated painting contractors, I decided to use 2 Guys Painting. This decision was not only based on the fact they were top rated, but by the sense of confidence I got from Dave when he came to do the quote. He was very professional, yet friendly and definitely knowledgeable. He promptly provided a detailed quote and was willing to work with our tight schedule. As soon as our roof was replaced and our attic insulated, I contacted Dave. We arranged a date and time so that the work would be finished by the end of April. When Ali arrived, he started right into the prep work. He did an exceptional job of covering our cupboards, counters, and floors. Although Dave had originally said the job could take 2 days, Ali worked overtime to have it all completed in 1 day. He had reduced the time needed for drywall to dry before painting, by using a faster drying compound. When he was ready to start sanding, he put plastic up to enclose the rooms he was working in. When he was finished, all we had to do was put the stools back around the island and reorganized the stuff on the counters. He provided exceptional workmanship, and was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I chose 2 Guys Painting based on the reviews here and Mike promptly responded to my inquiry, scheduled an estimate appointment and provided an estimate all within a week. We had some initial scheduling issues, and I was about to give up and begin searching for someone else (or just pain it myself), when I decided to give him another chance, and I'm so glad I did. He was professional, quick, courteous and did a wonderful job. We couldn't be happier. In full disclosure our scheduling conflicts were partly my fault, partly some administrative typos (wrong phone numbers, etc.) and some overbookings, but all-in-all the project was delayed one week and took 3 days. It looks wonderful.

We will be repainting the rest of our house in the coming years and Mr. Oliveira will be my first call.

Scope of work for our project as follows, paint cabinets, remove and replace backsplash, apply crown molding to cabinets, paint all walls, ceiling, trim. Add electrical and move some existing electrical, install under cabinet lighting. Replace exterior door hardware.
We entertained 3 quotes. 2 Guys was on par with the others. We were sold by Dave's knowledge and assurance that this project would go smoothly. We felt he knew the work and was not just selling the company. Could practice what he preaches, so to speak.
When a date was chosen, the work began. Everyday Sham arrived on time and worked tirelessly. No long trips to the hardware store. No endless cell phone calls. Just hard work with excellent results. Sham's abilities show real craftsmanship and pride. We can't thank him enough or Dave for assigning him to our reno.
Our search is over! It will be 2 Guys Painting for all our reno/paint needs.

The exterior of my house was in dire need of a proper paint job. A previous painting, more than five years ago, left the house nearly as bad as it had previously been, and to add insult to injury, cost me an arm and a leg. '2 Guys' painted most of our house and did a great job. They finished sanding, patch work, and two coats of paint in one day. They worked with multiple colours in out great room, dining room, front entrance, stairwell, and upstairs hallway. My wife was home during the painting, and they would not accept the money until I got home to review the work. Very professional and great work. Highly recommended.
