After snaking, descaling etc.there was still too little water coming into the bowl and it wasn`t totally emptying, but we had done everything and if you dumped a bucket of water in it flushed fairly well. So, I was pretty sure we were going to have to put in a new toilet (the one we have is seriously poor quality). QUinn came over and was pleasant and listened to my long winded explanation. HE went through the same routine and agreed that a new toilet was likely in order; but he would try augering the drain before we finalized the toilet purchase. Voila! He managed to get out what is likely a latex medical glove. Although it wasn`t enough to block the drain it was enough to make toilet act weird. Our bathroom is TINY and there is only room for 1 - were he not the honest fellow he is he could have said no success with the auger and dinged me for a toilet purchase and installation (which I would have happily done). But he was as thrilled as I that this was the solution. I am a small woman who uses a wheelchair and that can attract service people who will try to shaft me. I had been prepared for a rather large bill. But, he was only going to charge me for the service call ($50)...he was here quite a while. However, all of our neighbours have had a lot of drain problems; so, I decided to also purchase a service plan. It wan`t very expensive and the peace of mind is worth it; and, the discounts you would get if it was a larger job would more than cover the cost of the insurance plan. He applied the discount to this service call and it was only $25. Dalia in the office was also wonderful. Good team! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
