We purchased a century home with the intention of converting it into a Bed & Breakfast. We knew it would be a large renovation job, which also included replacing the existing shingles. After 3 years of extensive Reno, it was time to replace the roof. We hired a 'guy with a ladder' who was recommended by a friend, and who also gave us a great price for the job. 6 year later our room started leaking. We left numerous messages but he would not return our calls. The one time we did connect, he promised to come and look at the problem but never came. Fed-up we called AM Roofing. They were both professional and accommodating and offer a 50yr warranty on their work. Andre came when it best suited us, assessed the job, gave us a quote based on our needs and scheduled the job to be completed when best suited the business. The roofers came when promised, ripped off the existing roof, checked to ensure the insulation was not mouldy, added more insulation where required, more venting, new plywood, ice & water shield and new shingles. They also secured and replaced the flat room and ensured that there was sufficient caulking around the chimney and skylight. The guys also cleared away all debris and roofing nails from our property and our neighbors yards throughout the day and before they left for the evening. Andre popped in regularly to check in on the progress and connected with us after the job was completed to ensure we were happy with the work. I have no hesitation recommending AM Roofing for any roofing work. I have piece of mind the job was done properly and will not need another roof while in this home.
